First off, let me say that I forgot something at the hotel after checking out, and they kept it safe till my friend in Tokyo could pick it up for me. I'm very thankful for that honesty and kindness!
The room was cozy and compact as expected for this price range in Asakusa. If you want more room to open up your suitcase, then upgrade to a larger room. For me, I was able to manage taking out a few things for the day. Of course, such a small space means that previous guests have scuffed up some of the walls when opening luggage or moving stuff around.
My only critique would be that the corners of the room, especially near the entrance area was dusty and needed a good vacuum along the edges. Other than that, the room was clean and up to the standards of hotels in Japan.
The room had a comfortable bed, the usual kettle with tea bags, and free bottles of water.
Front desk people were kind, and they reminded me that there was a beverage machine for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc., along with toiletries by the elevator if needed. Saw Biscoff cookies at the front desk if you needed something sweet before heading up to the room.
Would definitely stay again and book a slightly larger room.
Thank you for the hospitality!
