The staff are excellent. The space is clean and well maintained.
Great location, easy check in and friendly staff. Room was clean, however the floor, common areas, and bathrooms could have been cleaner. It is definitely a high traffic hostel.
Everything was clean and as expected. Was really just the price. $66 all in for one person for one night was cheaper than anything else but still seems like a lot.
Classic capsule hotel in fantastic Ueno location. Great value. Staff super helpful and kind. Clean. I had a bed on the 7th floor, which had nice views. Onsen, lounge and smoking room on 4th floor which was very comfortable and had really good facilities. Vending machines and all you need there. Literally everything you could need provided, hair brushes, toothbrushes, towels, robes, et cetera! Nice and hot onsen open basically 24/7, 100c, with a telly! Shower, hot bath all nice. Great place to stay in Tokyo on a budget/solo travel!
It’s within walking distance of Ueno park and the Tokyo national museum. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and it’s just down the road from the train station.
I loved the simplicity of the hostel, with all the services like the onsen, spa facilities and the relaxtion room filled with massage chairs and mangas. Bed pods were more than spacious with enough space to sit.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Its an accesible, cheap and well located hotel. The sauna is not bad.
Located conveniently near Okachimachi and Ueno station making it very accessible to various train lines. Great place to stay as a solo traveller. The hotel does have storage for large suitcases and provides a locker, for each capsule, to store smaller bags like carry-ons. Comfortable and spacious capsules, and well/regularly maintained facilities. Initially planned to stay for 3 nights, but ended up extending another 3 as it was quite comfortable and provided great value for the money.
In the end of the day this is a hostel, I highly
Keep in mind to bring a mini fan for ventilation, especially during summer.
During my visit I didn't need it.
They provide PJs, two small towels, blades, soap, shampoo and a tooth brush.
The location is strategic, nearby station, restaurants and the area is lively.
The onsen is public, so if you feel shy just cover your tool with a towel.
Ive been to a couple of capsule hotels in JP. This is by far the best, its centrally located in UENO, easy to get to Haneda or Narita airport. The area is also nice with the park and other attractions nearby, Asakusa is two stops away. Also the capsule sizes are great, its not too low to the floor which saves your knees and back and its a bit bigger than the standard capsule so it doesn't feel like you're in a coffin. It also smells good, and doesnt smell like feet like the other capsule hostels. So it says a lot about their level of clean. I like to stay in the 2ndFloor which is their premium floor with a dedicated common area. Unfortunately sometimes the "help" takes some of the spots in the morning as they start their work, which is unfortunate. But the sento area is great and have a sauna show which is very uniquely Japanese. Id stay again!
It was hostel, don’t expect much. No private shower, just a public batch where the room was boiling as it was also a sauna and smelt of cigarettes.
If you don’t mind all this as this is a HOSTEL then you’ll be fine.
The condition of the room was clean and the bed was comfy.
it's a bit older than other capsules I've been to, lockers are apart from sleeping area and shared bath is smaller than i would expect. Still had good sleep though
The location is great. The basically-24h SPA is even better. It's not too grand - just a hot/cold bath, showers, and a sauna. But it helps a lot to relax. There's also an area to lay down and to use your laptop, so you don't feel confined to your capsule. Of course, the point of staying here is the location, and the ease with which you may get out. So spending time inside isn't the intention. It might not be as peaceful/easy as a dedicated room, but it's a great value for money. The only downsides are the inconvenient/cramped locker/luggage area, and the poor ventilation in the capsule.
Staff were very friendly and spoke English. It’s located right in the middle of a busy area with lots of restaurants and shops. Inside is very quiet, you would never know that the street below was busy until you got outside. The interior areas are outdated and starting to look run down. The staff did a great job keeping all the common areas clean and tidy. If you want to relax at the hostel in late morning into the afternoon, or wake up late, it’ll be hard to go in/out of the cabins while the cleaning crew are changing the bedding in all the cabins. Especially when several guests checkout on the same day. The bathroom was always stocked with toiletries. The elevator does not go to 2F, the stairs are steep, about 4 flights, from 1F to 2F but not as steep from 3F. There was plenty of space for luggage storage on 3F and a small space in the cabin area in 2F for some luggage but best to only book 2F if you’re travelling light. Lockers are only big enough for a backpack that could fit under an airplane seat. There was no a/c in the 2F cabin area, only in the common area. There was a floor fan blowing at the end of the hallway that helped a bit but the cabin got really hot when you closed the curtain. Location is a few minute walk to either Ueno or Okachimachi train stations.

Property is in a bustling part of town, a short walk from the metro station. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor, only odd number floors. Spa is used by the public in addition to guests. You will not be permitted to use the spa if you have a tattoo that cannot be covered. Carpet is quite worn and old but overall facilities are well cared for. There is a smoking lounge on the floor that wafts smoke into the common room when people enter and exit. Bed is firm but mostly comfortable, and the capsules are just the size of the bed with a plug, TV, and light. Lockers are quite small and most of the luggage will be left in the hallway. There are banks of showers and a common bathroom, which seemed to be shared with the women’s side. Overall a decent budget location.
