"This was a cozy little motel with an amazing ocean view! The walk down to the beach was easy, but climbing the road back up just took a bit out of us. Friendly staff and quiet neighbors. I was a little disappointed at the mold in the bathroom, but for a couple nights, I could deal with it. "

"Pros: Lovely views from my room on the 2nd floor, great French Press Coffee maker, Microwave and Refrigirator. Cons: No Closet with typical hangers, walkway outside the door is noisy early in the morning, parking on the steep downhill driveway makes lugging luggage to the room and back difficult. Breakfast is austere, no fruits, muffins are tiny. "

"There was so much to like about this hotel. Location was excellent, a quiet spot on a large beach with lovely views. It also had all the amenities required, including a fabulous restaurant with great food and service, a homey game-room lobby in front, an outdoor deck with Adirondacks and firepit, and a helpful, friendly staff. There were also plenty of quiet sitting areas throughout the building for reading and beach-watching. I will definitely stay here again on a return trip to the Newport area."

"I loved the Bay view. However, we got a room that did not have a balcony. Not a big deal but all the rooms should have one for optimal viewing. "
