The sound of the rapids while sitting around the campfire at night was incredibly peaceful, and the star-filled sky was unforgettable - I even saw a shooting star.The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. We’d definitely love to come back!"

"This is an older hotel with new owners who are trying to make it nicer for guests. The rooms by the lake have great access to swimming and nice little deck for enjoying the lake view. You have access to a high quality gym. Owner went out of his way to help me find a place to charge my EV. Good price for this part of Ontario, would recommend."

"Very nice property! The host was very helpful once it was clear they somehow had missed our arrival to arrange for speedy cleanup, access to the property, and compensation. Nice property with access to water (very shallow very far, ideal for small children). Too bad we couldn’t make a fire because of the ban. Old building but nicely renovated. Be ready for at least a train a night that is hard to ignore due to proximity. "
