The hotel itself was generally as expected. Our room did not have a rainforest shower that appears to be missing as there was a toggle to switch between the regular shower head and rainforest shower. The clean up each day varied in effort which wasn’t great. Got extra pillows when asked for it so that’s good. The best thing about the hotel is its proximity to stuff like the palace museum and Tiananmen Square. Also close to Wangfujing st.

Great stay at Lanou Hotel in Beijing! The location is fantastic—close to many popular attractions, which made sightseeing so easy. The front desk staff were super friendly and check-in was very efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. As a business traveler, I really appreciated the smooth experience. Highly recommended!

The staff was so accommodating and arranged our transfers to and from the Airport as well. We stayed in the club room which was very spacious really clean and fantastic value for Money.
We certainly stay here again if we’re coming back to Beijing.

The hotel is not that close to universal studios but offers a free shuttle where they try to upsell you on stuff like raincoats and extra services in the 20min ride (totally optional tho). The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. It is also close to all of the touristy sites. The elevators were very, very slow and breakfast was quite busy. One morning, although there were 3 coffee machines and a barrista stand, none of them were working. Only regular coffee was available.
