"Highliner Hotel was just perfect for our one night stay in Anchorage. The place was very clean and in a good part of town very walkable to nice restaurants and breweries. The bed and pillows were the excellent, incredibly comfortable. Would highly recommend. Just the quaint vibe we were looking for."

"Over all the hotel was fine, the staff was friendly. Only hitch was we arrived at the airport at 1am. The hotel provides "a 24 free airport shuttle". With that said we could not get through as the number was answered by an "AI" answering machine and we were not able to contact the shuttle and hired a taxi instead. The hotel is also very close to the Alaskan railroad hub so you will hear train horns day and night. The price was right and it served as a great step over hotel for the start of our Alaska adventure!"

"I chose this location for the price. All Anchorage hotels are very very expensive, and so was this one, but it was the best choice based on location and reviews. It was nice that they had free hot breakfast. The rooms were large, and clean. Nothing glamorous, but it was fine for an overnight stay before a cruise"

"Room not quite up to other Hilton stays, and the price is excessive for the area, location and quality. Rooms were good, breakfast was pretty expensive for a buffet, but was very good. For a Hilton the staff was oblivious to the cruise travels that frequent the hotel. They had zero knowledge of the buses that pull up to the hotel, so the classic answer to everything was they did not know. We would stay again if the price was right."

"Fantastic home within easy walking distance from many restaurants and points of interest. Check in was easy and smooth. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need plus some. Our only complaint would be the beds…which were all worn out, too soft and all need to be replaced in our humble opinion."
