Gran Hotel Margalida Mallorca by Annua Signature - New Opening

"We had such a wonderful stay at the Gran Hotel Margalida. Mikel and the entire staff were so kind and accommodating—we had an unusual request to have them coordinate the arrival and pickup of over 500lbs of camera equipment during our stay (long story), and they took care of it without any hiccups. Our room had a spectacular ocean view, and the breakfast was among the best I've had in any hotel. We also loved the buggy that helped us to the beach and back! It's hard to imagine a better stay, and we were truly saddened to say goodbye to so many of the lovely staff who made our stay so special."
Rustic finca in a quiet location with pool and panoramic sea and mountain views

"We had a very nice holiday and really enjoyed our stay. The property is lovely with great views of the town, hillside and ocean. The pool was by far my favorite….perfect way to cool off in the mid afternoon heat. Travelers should be aware that the house is definitely rustic and consistent with country living. I feel the property description was pretty accurate. Since it is countryside, there are quite a few insects. Be sure to bring your anti itch cream for the mosquitos. We battled the ants inside and wasps outside the entire time, but I suppose that comes with the territory. It didn’t take away from the beauty of the location. Since our stay was in August, it was super hot in Mallorca. The house does not have AC, and the fans only helped a little bit when it came to cooling things down. Closing the shutters during the day helps, but things stay pretty warm. This is something to note if you visit in the summer months. The pool was our saving grace. I would also note that the path from the parking to the house may be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. However, it’s only about a 10 minute walk into town from the property. If you want to go to the beach, it’s about a 20 min walk. Easy to enjoy the day without driving. Overall we had a great stay. Communication with the host was excellent. Banyalbufar is a super cute hillside village, and the property offers a quiet escape with surrounding beauty. It made a wonderful base to explore Mallorca."

"Vilma was such an amazing host. I’ve never experienced such care from a manager of a hotel before. She and her boyfriend cooked us a spaghetti dinner after a long day of travel after the restaurant had closed for the night. They also helped us learn about the island and the best places to visit. 10/10!"

"The location and views are amazing, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The pool and surrounding area are also really nice and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the breakfast — there was a great variety in the buffet and everything was really good. However, the hotel feels like it was a great property years ago but hasn’t been renovated or properly maintained since. Our first room was extremely hot because the AC wasn’t working properly, although we were eventually given another room that was much better. The bathrooms need more attention, as we noticed some rust and red mold around the taps. Parking is also a major issue — if you have a car, be prepared to spend a long time looking for a parking spot. Overall, 3/5. The beautiful location, views, pool, and breakfast are definitely highlights, but the rooms and bathrooms would benefit from some renovation and better maintenance."

"We felt right at home in Mark’s beautiful villa. Everything was perfect. We loved starting our days with long breakfasts on the beautiful ocean view patio. The pool area with the many lounge chairs is truly a dream. We never missed the beach. Thank you Mark for making your immaculate house available as a vacation rental. And thank you Mimi for excellent housekeeping. It really doesn’t get better than this. We can’t wait to be back next summer."

"Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in dieser Finca auf Mallorca. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, sodass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt haben. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für Familien und bietet genügend Platz zum Entspannen.Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und ideal, um die Insel zu erkunden oder einfach die Ruhe zu genießen.
