Hotel Zen Airport with Free shuttle
"I booked this hotel last minute as my flight from Malaga was delayed. I got a warm welcome from the staff and I was very impressed with the airport shuttle service. The pool looked nice, although I didn't use it. The room was good, with blackout blinds and a kettle. However it was very noisy. I could hear people coughing and using hairdryers and coming home drunk, so not ideal for an early morning flight, however great if you ARE the drunk person enjoying yourself."

A lively part of the Costa del Sol, parts of Torremolinos are well-known for their fun-loving visitors, however, there are quieter parts for those seeking some respite. The El Bajondillo and La Carihuela beaches are the area’s most popular, with quieter coves available for those looking for time away from the crowds. Located just 8 kilometres from Malaga airport, Torremolinos is very convenient for those looking for a last-minute break or somewhere that doesn’t require a lot of travel.

Beach Activities in Torremolinos
Torremolinos is packed full of fun activities including water-skiing, paragliding and wind-surfing. Then there is, of course, the option of lying on the beach. During the months of July and August the beaches do get busy so make sure to get down early to claim a spot.
In addition to beachside activities, visitors can avail of the area’s excellent golf courses. The area is renowned for its world-class courses that include La Cala Resort, Calanova Golf Club and Golf Torrequebrada.
Also close to Torremolinos is Aqualand Torremolinos, a popular water park featuring slides, rapids and a special wave machine. This is ideal for families looking to have a break from the beach for the day.
Places to Eat and Drink Near in Torremolinos
Visit the town of La Carihuela, a town that is still home to several fishing villages and has some of the Costa del Sol’s best seafood. In Torremolinos itself are also a variety of restaurants serving local and international favourites.
Then there are the great beach hut restaurants (chiringuitos) to make the most of when down by the beach. Some of the beach huts serve of local specialities of sardines on the barbeque, paella and fried fish (pescaitos fritos).
Come sundown, Torremolinos is known for its party atmosphere, with a long list of bars with happy hours and clubs to dance the night away at.
