"The Castle exceeded our high expectations! Staying in a real castle was like a dream come true. All the rooms were beautifully decorated in a style appropriate to the historic nature of the property. There were amazing views from all the windows, the multiple balconies, and the multiple lawn and pool areas. Two excellent restaurants were in walking distance, and a large grocery store was 10 minutes away. So much to see and do within an hour's drive or train ride. Highly recommend the Castle!!"

"A nice flat with a wonderful terrace in a small village up to the mountains, beautiful landscape and vegetation. A car is a must and careful driving is important to mention. Private parking is available. In 15 minutes you are at the centre of Chiavari, beach/promenade and the train station. "The property was quite difficult to get to and that wasn't made clear in the description. We were driving a rental car with a clutch. The streets were extremely narrow, winding, hilly and there were many hairpin turns required, particularly to get up the very steep driveway. I'm not sure your average driver could have managed very well. Additionally, to get to the house from the parking area required going up a total of 57 steps. I could see this would be a terrible problem for many...
