The staff were incredible, however I must deduct one star because we communicated a few days before on a pickup from the airport and they never showed up. We had to take an uber from the airport for about 140MAD. It was our first time in Marrakech so it would have been helpful to have someone from the hotel pick us up. They told us that a colleague was suddenly on vacation but then there was no reconciliation on the matter. There were limited food options despite having a menu; you’d often have to ask what’s available. They were very accommodating for not canceling our reservation for arriving one day late due to a delay in flight. But then the room wasn’t available right away. The Riad is pretty centrally located which we enjoyed. We were not planning to stay in the Riad during our stay because we’re out and about but it is small and something worth considering if you plan to relax while in Marrakech. They do have an absolutely beautiful view of the sunset in their rooftop. Overall decent stay, could have been a bit better for the value. Staff speaks French, English, Arabic. They understand Spanish but only one or two have some conversational skills, same with Italian. Food was a bit on the pricey side.

Such a good value little Riad! Was not too tricky to find, and staff were really helpful especially Abdullah who gave us a map and some advice on where was good to visit and eat and was very helpful throughout our stay. The room was basic but clean, had great aircon, and a little en-suite. The rooftop with the little pool was a lovely place to sit and sunbath for a few hours a day. This was also where breakfast was served and it’s lovely up there, although there was a slight bee problem when food was served but totally not the Riad’s fault as it’s outside but just something to note. Overall would recommend for sure.

The location of Riad Rêve Et Fantaisie Marrakech was very convenient and safe for those who want to be close to the Medina but away from the central tourist traps. Located in more of the residential areas of the Moroccan Medina, north of most of the touristic locations, we found the location very central. We also liked that the Taxi can drop you directly in front of the Hotel which is rare, as most central locations in the Medina would require small cars, and would be required to be accessed by foot. For those who want a place that's low thrills, clean, and a friendly staff, this is somewhere I would suggest. As someone who has been to Marrakech over a handful of times, over the last 20-years, I would recommend Riad Rêve Et Fantaisie Marrakech. I also enjoyed the tagines on the roof top, and the common space that was very well-kept. We were one of their first clients, as they just opened less than 1-month when we arrived, so perhaps the property will change over time, but I hope they will keep the hospitality and condition of the property.
