"The reception staff were indifferent and unhelpful, with no suggestions for things to do or even where to park downtown. The trainee from Bulgaria was an exception. When I made the reservation on Expedia, the breakfast was listed as a "full breakfast", but the hotel provides only a continental breakfast."

"Really good experience here for our 3 night stay. Originally booked for 4 nights but had to cut it short a night for a family issue. The staff and manager provided personalized, kind and quick service to work with me on the early check out. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is attentive and pleasant. 5 to 10 min walk to town. Snacks, coffee, ice and water bottle refill machine were all appreciated. I also liked having 2 big windows to open in the room for fresh air. Bar Harbor is expensive but I felt I got my money's worth at Seasider and they earned my repeat business!"

"I booked this hotel, because it had pool listed. Unpleasant surprise after we checked in to find out that pool has been closed for some years and not planning to reopen any time soon. The foundation sunk . I would like to get reimbursed because we had to stay in the room as there was nothing else to do. Also, this hotel doesn't have an elevator, it was ok with us to walk up the stairs, but maybe some other people with wheelchair, stroller or heavy luggage it would be hard. Breakfast was okeyish, they made it look like there was a lot, very spread out in dining area but very simple. Rooms very clean and bathroom was clean as well."
