"Lovely well maintained Victorian home on a corner lot. Plenty of parking. Swimming pool and landscaping were nice. Two block walk to watch trains. Large dining and livingroom. The only issue that became a large issue is that there are only two mini splits for air conditioning. The dining/livingroom and one bedroom upstairs had air conditioning. "Property was very clean with comfortable beds. Ellen came to the cabin to check on us because we needed some servicing and all was corrected. We had view of a pond from our doorway with a fountain with lights at night. We saw a Doe that goes by the name of Janice ( Yes the wildlife have names) who almost allowed us to pet even though I had our dog on a leash. "Adorable cabin. Very quaint. Cleanliness could have been a little better. (Cobwebs everywhere). The bathroom door needs to be replaced and the light for the porch did not work (kind of dangerous for the porch steps at night) other than that had a wonderful time. Thank you! Danielle"

"This location was perfect for a family of 4-6. There is a dock to keep your boat in the water during your stay with a state boat launch 1/2 mile from the house! You get your exercise walking to and from the dock! Very peaceful lake getaway! Would and probably will book again"

"My wife, two kids, and I had a great time here at the end of July this year. The cabin is fairly small, but the upstairs bedroom and downstairs bedroom are very separate, providing privacy at night. The construction of the cabin was excellent and everything is fully up to date. Wonderful deck for reading with a summer breeze in the evening. There is a small beach in Wells, but I would also recommend the short drives to Speculator and Moffett Beach for excellent lake beaches in the area. "
