This is an excellent place to stay in NYC if you're looking for a safe and affordable option. The location is great (and a few blocks east of 5th is a bit quieter, if that's what you're looking for), lots of dining options around, only a short walk from Central Park and theaters! The property is a bit worn, but that's to be expected. I do wish there was coffee maker in the room for mornings. Thanks to the wonderful and helpful staff!

The place and amenities were really nice. The only bad thing was the bathroom got nasty really quick so for me the shared bathrooms won’t work. But they do have private bathroom rooms. Other than the dirty bathrooms not getting cleaned enough everything was great, location and space.

Property was a little run down. The door did not shut completely. The bathroom had mold in it. The bathroom door was in bad shape. The staff was great. The location fantastic. Price was reasonable. I would stay again.

I’ve returned from a 5 days mother/son trip to NYC with my 14 yrs old..The experience was fantastic and staying at NobleDen made it even more special…Property was clean and quiet and the area was very safe even for late night walks…we will definitely be back ..

Hotel St. James had the perfect location as it was easily accessible to different modes of transportation and was a 5 minute walk from Times Square so there are plenty of food options and things to do even late at night. You definitely get what you pay for; It wasn’t the cleanest hotel I’ve been to but it was clean enough that it was a comfortable stay and hotel receptionists were lovely and very helpful. Towels were always brand new every day and beds were made every day which was really nice. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and highly recommended if you are looking for a budget-friendly hotel in a good area!
