Cozy log cabin with rustic decor & hot-tub to enjoy!
Wild Laurel Lodge is a charming authentic log cabin nestled among the quiet, wandering hills of Laurel Valley, bordering the National Park. Breathe in the serene mountain air and enjoy the momentary repose The Great Smoky Mountains offer. The spacious Master bedroom is warm and welcoming, with a King size bed, seating area and cable TV. Attached is a large, bright bathroom with a soothing Jacuzzi, and walk-in shower. Outside of the Master bedroom is a large porch that also connects to the inside living room. The darling screened in patio looks out into the thick Tennessee foliage and provides an exceptional atmosphere for entertaining. There is a stainless propane gas grill on the back deck to fire up any occasion! The gourmet kitchen is well equipped and offers basic stock of spices and pantry items. Expansive granite counter space and stainless-steel appliances will ensure ease and enjoyment while working in the kitchen. This Great Room is centered around an inviting gas fireplace, oversized flat screen TV, and large farm table for gathering. Once you make your way downstairs, there is a cozy family room with a second electric fireplace, cable TV and DVD player, as well as room for games. Be sure to check out the library selection to access local information including hikes, area history of the Smokies, and identify our wild life. The best is yet to come, with a second wrap-around porch and a new hot tub, as well as rocking chairs and an oversized relaxing porch swing. There are two additional private bedrooms, one with King Size bed and adjoining bathroom, and Queen Size bed, with a third full bathroom and Sleeper Sofa in the lower Den. Wild Laurel Lodge is fantastic for families, friends, and couples getaways. Townsend is a tranquil introduction to the rolling foothills of Tennessee, but also conveniently local to endless entertainment. Grab a tube and float down the Little River, explore historic Cades Cove, we have fly-fishing, Tuckaleechee Caverns, and countless other adventures that await you. Or check out all the gorgeous hiking trails winding through these old mountains. If you are looking to have an action-packed stay, Laurel Valley has a golf course, swimming pool, and club house with stunning views. Located within a thirty minute drive, Dollywood is fun for the whole family, and while you’re around Gatlinburg, don’t forget about the Ripley’s Aquarium, Ober Gatlinburg, and endless dining and shopping opportunities. Also, less than forty five minutes from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville Airport, the interstate system. Please note this property does have an outdoor fire pit. We do not provide firewood for outdoor fires, but it may be purchased at the Village Market IGA. While staying at this home, guests will have access to the Wild Laurel Fitness Center at NO charge, and access to the swimming pool for a small fee.

The check-in process went smoothly. As soon as we entered the property, we were truly amazed. This property couldn't be more accurately described in the description. The aroma of wood in the air and the at home feeling made it incredible. We had an issue with the refrigerator the first night and we contacted the emergency number to which the gentlemen came out and reset the fridge. There was a grill on the property which we were going cook on, however, there were some issues with the grill. However, the owner, Madeline, stopped by to find out if we had everything we needed and my husband mentioned the grill. She immediately cleaned the grill and then got us some kabobs to grill for dinner. In that moment, you could really tell that Madeline cares about her property and the people having an amazing time. She asked us if there was anything that could be changed or added to make the stay better and I can honestly say to change nothing. The property is secluded on a cul-de-sac in a very quiet neighborhood. We were able to utilize the pool a few nights to cool off and to catch those amazing views of the Smokey's. If you don't mind driving 30 to 40 minutes to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, then this is the place to stay. The cabin was very spacious for my husband and I, and our two boys (which they got their own rooms and bathroom and loved every second of it). We were able to watch a few movies in the evening and hung at in the hot tub a few evenings as well. I recommend anyone wanting to stay in a secluded place, but still very much close to the Smokey Mountains stay at this cabin. It was absolutely stunning and I would definitely come back!
Our family loves the Townsend area and the whole family loved this cabin!! I felt right at home. It was a perfect fit for 6 people and the process of booking was so easy.
We really loved everything about this cabin. There was plenty of room. We loved the little details of everything. The outside decks were great for early mornings and evenings when it was a little cooler. The hot tub was nice. Can’t really think of any improvements that it needs. We would love to come back again sometime!
The cabin exceeded our expectations. We wish we had more time there, as it was the end of our vacation. But we’d love to come back for another stay. Prepare for twists, turns and a steep left turn.
Enjoyed a relaxing weekend with family. Cabin was even nicer in person. Had everything there we needed. The hot tub was icing on the cake.

Great
We travel a good amount. This property was probably the best I have ever seen for the amount of stuff it was stocked with. Great detail has been paid to make sure the guest has everything needed. It is a little further from activities than I thought when I booked. That did not take away from the overall experience.
I have stayed at many many rental properties. I must say, the usually don’t meet my expectations. This property, however, far exceeded my expectations! It was SPOTLESS! Private bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us, beautiful scenery, incredibly well-stocked kitchen. This place had everything you could possibly need. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!!
Arrived to lots of snow, which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Property was perfect for our family of 5. Kids had good space downstairs with the adults upstairs. Laurel Valley is a perfect reprieve from the hustle of the higher traffic near by cities. It’s a perfect distance from Cades Cove. We’ve stayed many times on the golf course and this cabin was one of our favorites.
We very much enjoyed our (3 couples) stay. Cabin was excellent, well stocked and appointed. The whole process was smooth. Would definitely stay here again in the future and recommend.
Easy rental process. Good communication. The rental was very nice and clean. It was a quiet area and away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely rent again!

Get away before the holiday rush
We enjoyed our stay. The place was quiet and served our needs greatly
Great area, close to National Park and other great areas in Townsend. We came in for Vacation Races Smokey Mountain half marathon and were happy with how close we were to everything.
