As soon as you walk though the door you will fall in love with the Intimate & Cozy atmosphere this Romantic Smokey Mountain Cabin has. Set on a private drive & wooded area in the rolling hills of Townsend Tn. This beautiful (1)one room suite (1)bath cabin has a queen size bed with a soft Pillowtop mattress & a Very Large Bedside Jacuzzi for Two! To top that off, there is also set of 'Mood Lights' overhead for that true romantic effect. You will adore the beautiful stack stone fireplace and cedar mantel as the fire flickers on those cool autumn nights.

The wrap around covered porch with handmade rockers and your own personal Romantic Sauna for Two along with a Very Private Hot Tub are among some things you can enjoy. These await you to 'Experience Romance' with that special person on a those clear moonlit nights in Townsend Tn in the Smokey Mountains. This Rustic & Irresistible Townsend cabin rental is constructed of rough sawed white pine lumber from the trees we cut ourselves and decorated with all the nic naks to give it that special personal homey feeling. This private cabin has all amenities as well as WIFI, whiteoak hardwood flooring, cathedral ceiling, custom oak cabinets, fully furnished kitchen, charcoal grill, 32in flatscreen satellite TV, DVD player, DVD Movies, AM/FM radio with CD player, central heat & air, washer/dryer & hair dryer. Located just 1 mile from the Townsend Bike and Walking path and just minutes from Cades Cove and the entrance of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Its also just a short drive away from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tenn.

**Cabin has multiple steps.

**Note- All guests Must come to our office to sign in and get keys BEFORE going to the cabin. Check in time 5pm - 9pm eastern time at our Home Office

*No reservation will be held if the the requestor does not communicate with us after sending request or does not put their name on the reservation request. Be looking for our response right after you send a booking request.
No 3d party rentals. The guest that the reservation is under Must be the one that checks in to receive the keys and be on the cabin property... No keys will be issued to anyone else.
No exceptions.
Grills are pulled Dec-March or Fire Danger/Red Alert.
No Firepit.
No refunds for Government Shutdowns.

No Visitors at the cabin or on the property. Paying renters only.
No children or infants.. Adults Only

Any items left in cabin after check out will be donated.

We absolutely were blown away with our stay here! The owners were so great to work with. The cabin was beautiful and quaint. The cleanliness was amazing. I have never felt so “at home” away from home as I did here! We will for sure be booking this again! You are missing out if you do not stay here!

We had a great stay. Love the cabin and amenities. Very close to restaurants and shops in Townsend. Communication with hosts was great! Really enjoyed our stay!

Nice cabin that was very quite. No problems at all. Very well supplied with the essentials a couple would need to cook if that is what you wanted to do, which we did. The honeymoon we finally got after 40 years. Would recommend for any couple.

Just what we were looking for!

A Time for Two is a great place to spend a few relaxing days. The amenities were perfect for a fall getaway. Close to the "quiet side of the Smokies" which was perfect. Host communicated promptly and even offered an early check in. Would definitely go back!

A Time for Two-Cabin in Townsend TN

A very clean, nice cabin with hot tub and jacuzzi. Excellent location, close to National Park and a lot of good hiking trails. Very nice owners. We have rented this cabin several times.

Excellent place for a couple to stay. Townsend is so much more peaceful and relaxing than Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. This cabin is perfect for a relaxing getaway with your spouse. The accommodations and perfect, and the owners are very warm, friendly, and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and the cabin was comfortable. The owners were so thoughtful and kind. The area was great too 30 minutes from pigeon forge. It was close to alot of fun activities amazing restaurants and unique stores.

Amazing experience

Loved it , hard time leaving!!

My wife and I are went up to this cabin for our anniversary. If you’re like us and just want peace, quiet, food, and a good time this is the place!!!! We will definitely be coming back to this cabin in the near future. The area is beautiful. I would recommend Townsend over Gatlinburg or pigeon forge every time!! If you’re looking for the most relaxing weekend of your life just book this !!!

A Time For Two

While the cabin itself was lovely, we felt as if the owners were micromanaging our stay. Every wall, appliance, or amenity had detailed instructions, and we felt as if we were walking on eggshells. I understand the owners have been renting for a long time and have undoubtedly seen some atrocious renters, but we were unable to fully relax. There was even a note on the remote warning us that they would know if we switched the batteries. We are full grown adults paying a substantial amount for the stay and were ultimately tempted to be insulted by such patronizing management.

Wonderful place—check-in could be better.

I would rate this place five stars because it is absolutely perfect for one couple wanting a quiet, private getaway, but I take one star away because we found the check-in process less than perfect. There is no lockbox or keypad lock as is common these days with many Vrbo rentals. Instead, you're required to drive to the owner's home, about 1.5 miles from the cabin, to check in and pick up the key. Once there, the owner does not invite you in to make you feel welcome. Instead, she opens a window onto her front porch, and makes you sign two detailed documents on a table in front of the window before giving you the key. Once at the cabin (which, once again, we loved, and found spotlessly clean), we encountered a sign hanging above the kitchen stove that read, "If you must use our stove in our kitchen, we expect it left as it was found." When we entered, a radio was playing and we found on it a sign requiring us, whenever we left the cabin, to turn the radio on. I suppose this was to give any intruder the impression the cabin was occupied, but that was not explained. All in all, the check-in process and the signage left us feeling treated a bit inhospitably.

Inaccurate Listing

Booked an anniversary trip here mainly because of the location and there being a hot tub. Did not find out that the hot tub was not working until arrival, which was upsetting because there were other properties that we liked more but chose this one because we thought it had a working hot tub. The switch on the hot tub was messed up as well as there being a leak, so it was completely drained of water. The host acted like he had known about the problem for awhile, but only decided to start working on it after we arrived, so we didn’t have a hot tub for our entire 7 night stay.. the host sent a 6% discount check a few weeks after we let him know that the hot tub was the main reason for booking this property, but we paid more than that for the convenience of having a hot tub. The check-in process was inconvenient. The bed/pillows were very uncomfortable. The upside is that the cabin was hidden back in a private drive with complete silence. Be prepared to spend time cleaning, as there was a checklist of items to do before leaving to keep from being charged a fee.
