"After a very disappointing experience at another nearby hotel, staying at Solara Inn was a breath of fresh air. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and still conveniently close to Disneyland, with plenty of great dining options nearby. The staff truly made our stay memorable. Everyone—from the front desk to housekeeping—was hospitable, friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. It’s rare to find a hotel where every interaction is so welcoming. The room was bright and inviting, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets smelled fresh and felt exceptionally clean. I also appreciated having both a refrigerator and a microwave in the room, which made our stay even more convenient. Another huge plus is that parking is completely free, unlike many nearby hotels that charge nightly parking fees. That alone adds up to significant savings. I can’t wait for our next Disneyland trip because I’ll definitely be staying at Solara Inn again. From now on, Solara Inn and Best Western Plus Raffles Inn will be my two go-to hotels in the area. The only time I’d choose Best Western is when traveling with a larger group, since their family suite is perfect for parties of more than five. For trips with just my wife and kids, Solara Inn will be my first choice every time."

"The location to Disneyland main gate couldn't be better. This location is basically right out front. Because of that, you end up paying for just about every service. Parking is an additional service, so if you arrive early, you pay extra, both to park and to check in. This also goes for the day you check out, so if you are going to the park on the day you check out, you have to pay extra to leave your car parked while you are at the park, on the day your check out. The hotel doesn't provide cleaning service every day, but they are suppose to change your towels and take out your trash every day. They did not do this for us, and we had to ask for it on the 3rd day after they missed it on the second day. Also, the door stuck so that it was very difficult to unlock and open, to the point where we couldn't open it with one hand, and a few times had to call someone to help us open it, which was very inconvenient."
