The property has great amenities; breakfast, pool, outdoor activities and food and drinks. All are great when open and staffed sufficiently as advertised which wasn't always our experience. Property and rooms are clean and well maintained. Good for value.

Entire Boardwalk Home on the Beach in Newport Beach with Beautiful Views
All eight of us had a great time and really enjoyed the property. It’s close enough to the pier without the noise associated with the crowds. Also very close to groceries and dining. The New Star Motel with Studio-Kitchens: 1950s Extended-Stay Lodging and Retreat Center
I enjoyed our stay, Harry was very welcoming and was very attentive to our needs. The rooms were clean and humble. Loved the decorations of the 1950 and the amenities. He even had a Atari game in the room! Come here and rest your head highly recommend.
