Brook Manor Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"A broken toe cut our hiking trip short, and we arrived at Brook Manor Lodge about 10:00am, hoping to stow are luggage. Even though check-in was scheduled to be at 4:00pm, the owner took pity on us. Within 15 minutes she had moved us from an upstairs room to a first floor suite so we wouldn't have to deal with stairs, and she let us check in right away. The hotel is beautiful and the service is impeccable. Highly recommended!"

"Our stay at this hotel was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The property truly delivers a five-star luxury experience in every way. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable with stunning attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable — warm, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The service throughout the hotel was flawless and made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. The amenities were outstanding, especially the dining experience, which was world-class. Every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and accommodated our dietary needs perfectly. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was elegant, relaxing, and luxurious without feeling overwhelming. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore the area while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we would absolutely return again. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true luxury experience."

"Great location. Quiet but close to downtown. Staff were great. Restaurant was not great for dinner. I’m guessing a lot of the meals are cooked from frozen and packaged ingredients. It filled the hole though. Parking is a bit of a circus with limited spots but staff were amazingly accommodating and will rush out to remove chains that are reserving spots. There is also a parkade only a block away if needed. Also, staff recommended coffee shop 2 blocks away (Madden) which was excellent."

"The hotel itself looks gorgeous, grounds are maintained beautifully. The lobby is old school and lovely. The not so good is the beds, our bed was like sleeping on a plywood board, it was so uncomfortable that we barely slept, the pillows were just as horrid. We had a late dinner in their bar restaurant, the food was bland and looked like a 10 year old prepared it. So sorry, for us this was a no return hotel"
