"The hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent. It is a smaller hotel in a rural type town and you got that small town care from the staff. They provided us with a triple room so we could have a double bed and helped make our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with fresh fried eggs and a good selection of breads and other items. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a clean comfortable room in a smaller setting. "

"We had a great time and enjoyed the swimming pool. There were few residents and it was very quiet. One member of staff stood out as being excellent and speaking English, we believe his name is Marco or Mario. This hotel could be so much more popular if it were to focus on a specific market. The decor is 50's period but this could add to its charm. It has all the facilities you could want, but would be difficult for disabled people."

"The hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent. It is a smaller hotel in a rural type town and you got that small town care from the staff. They provided us with a triple room so we could have a double bed and helped make our stay very comfortable. "Our room was so comfortable with an exterior door and sitting area. One of 10 rooms on the property it was a quiet location. Breakfast is delicious overlooking the river and valley. Small menu is available all day (til 5:00) and special dinner is served nightly at 7:30 from a very limited but delicious menu. Make reservations before 5 pm of the day you wish eat. Love the wine tasting and review and all the wines are available for purchase and very reasonably priced. Close to Penhao and many other wineries and activities. I’d highly recommend this Quinta. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice pool, walking areas and covered parking. "

"We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!"
