"This was a one night stop as we traveled west from the UP to Duluth and we wished we could have stayed here longer. This is a fantastic property. The best hotel breakfast we had all week, and a pool that was actually warm and a hot tub that functioned as it is supposed to. It doesn't sound like a high bar to meet, but so many other properties fail to maintain the amenities to a high standard. The room had 2 entry points: 1 from the exterior and 1 that opens up to the pool area. Spacious room. In the morning, we sat outside lakeside and even though it's not a beach, there is a sitting area where you can take in the peacefulness of the lake (or if the lake is not behaving, so be it!). fire pits available. Very pleased with the hotel and was nicer than many other Quality Inns we have stayed at."
