Cute little get away on the water. Enjoyed the provided breakfast, heated indoor pool and hot tub. Area is a decent distance from downtown TC and wineries. Didn’t use the shuttle to the casino because I was with my kids but will next time. Definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful stay the staff was kind and you can tell they care about the guests. Breakfast had many options and fresh cookies in the lobby. It is kinda hard to get in/ out of the parking lot but overall a great stay

Staff was very efficient and kind. The room was was appointed and comfortable. I didn't like the fact the light on the balcony stayed on all night....it kept me awake. I am used to complete darkness.

Very nice room. Clean, quiet and well kept up. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely stay here the next time we're in Traverse City.

The Cherry Tree Inn has one of the best staffs! Every employee from the front desk staff, maintenance crew and house keeping workers were beyond nice and friendly! The continental breakfast has a great variety. The rooms are very nice and extremely spacious. I will most definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone!! And I will also stay again with my own family!

Cherry Tree Suites is a beautiful get a way. Very friendly staff and big chocolate chip cookies when you check in! We loved the breakfast, big room with view of the bay, the indoor pool and hot tub. We will be staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Cherry Tree Inn and Suites. Our room and the facility were very clean. The staff was very cheery and helpful. Our breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the friendliness and enthusiasm of our server. She ensured our dining experience was perfect each morning!

We have stayed here several times and always feel comfortable and relaxed. The rooms are not immaculate or brand new, but clean and comfy. The gym was a bit disappointing, but most people don't come here for that. (It was way to hot in there, it's cramped, and limited in options.) However... the lobby it freshly updated, the coffee is good, and the breakfast is great. The options are good, and the service is amazing. The lady running the breakfast makes the whole experience at the Cherry Tree worth writing this review. (I believe her name is Lori or Lora) She made us feel welcome and cared for!

Overall, we loved our stay! Upon arrival, the woman who checked us in went above and beyond in assuring that we would have the best accommodations. She was very helpful with all our questions and even took us on a tour of the possible rooms we could change our booking to in order to have a lake view suite. All of the options we saw were very nice and spacious. Every member of the staff was a pleasure to interact with and the room, view and area was everything we needed for our getaway. The only complaints we had were that the noise of people walking above us or opening/closing doors was a bit loud and on our first day, the hot water wasn't working. However after informing the staff, and shortly after my husband had finished his cold shower, it was fixed. Our last night the smoke detector went off in the lobby outside our door and the front desk didn't answer after multiple times trying to call from the room phone to see what was going on. I'm sure it was because they were busy, but it would've been nice to be in the loop. The only reason we knew everything was fine is because we went out to the lobby and happened to pass a staff member as they walked in with fire fighters. I don't know what happened, but nothing seemed to be urgently wrong. All things considered though, the good definitely outweighed the bad and we enjoyed our stay.

Front desk associate was making an effort to be helpful at check in but had to answer multiple phone calls with no assistance from other staff. I believe she made a mistake with our rate; I had prepaid everything other than resort fee. I will attempt to resolve this issue at check out. Overall not a great experience.

The room was very nice, clean, and well laid out. We had a little problem with the TV reception the first night, but it corrected the second night. We were on the 5th floor looking over Grand Traverse Bay. It was a very enjoyable stay. The staff was very friendly and was always ready to help if needed.

I highly recommend coming here if you are looking on staying at a hotel anywhere in Traverse City. Beautiful rooms, gorgeous views and awesome staff! On top of that they do transportation if you want to go out for dinner or have drinks and not want to drive. I will definitely be coming back soon!
