I definitely wouldn’t opt to stay here given a variety of choice - but that wasn’t the case on this trip. We’d left it last minute and it was the only place available.
The bedding was clean, and the door was lockable and secure.
Lots of nice surface touches like free soap and biscuits, but big problems with soundproofing (bring earplugs for noisy pub goers/people snoring in the rooms adjacent), mould everywhere in the bathroom (ceiling, shelves, tub), and no hot water if any of the other rooms are using it). Felt very much like staying in my nan’s spare room, very dated.
Perks are it’s a short walk to the Fairy Falls and there’s free parking if you arrive early enough to grab a spot.
