Just returned home from a wonderful stay at felin hedd cottage Tregaron I've never been so welcome as I was by Aled and his wife the cottage was very high spec spotlessly clean and very cosy the bedroom's were large and spacious everything about the cottage was first class will definitely be returning thank you Aled and family

We had an amazing weekend at Felin Hedd.

We had an amazing weekend at Felin Hedd. A lovely cottage with stunning views. We received a warm welcome from Welsh speaking hosts who have put a lot of care and attention into the cottage. We had a lovely walk through the fields towards the river before relaxing in the hot tub. An amazing kitchen with balcony mezzanine with everything we needed. Plenty of room for the dogs too. Our family spent a wonderful week at Felin Hedd. The property was fantastic, even better than the photos/description states. The property is very well equipped and peaceful and very spacious with plenty of room for the children and dog to explore. It is also well located to visit the Local beaches and countryside. Aled the host, was extremely hospitable, ensured the property was spotlessly clean and was on hand if needed. We would definitely return to Felin Hedd. Felin Hedd is a superb house in a lovely location.

Felin Hedd is a superb house in a lovely location. The house is very large with a great dining/kitchen area and outdoor seating too. The games room was useful for wet afternoons. The river at the bottom of the hill is perfect for a quick dip or a paddle. The house is only 40 minutes from the coast or 30 minutes from the hills, so works for families who want to do a variety of outdoor activities - which we did! Aled the owner was very friendly and helpful and his two small dogs were great fun! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely relaxing stay, would definitely return.

The property was beautiful, it was as described and the layout suited the three generations of family staying. The underfloor heating meant that it was a warm house, the fire was a lovely addition that we enjoyed, even if we didn't really need it. The kitchen was the most well-equipped I have ever experienced, it catered for every need even including a slow cooker. We did cook most nights and found there was nothing we didn't have. The second lounge proved a nice area to relax in and there are TVs everywhere so everyone was happy. The view out of the downstairs master bedroom was to die for and took a lot to drag ourselves away. The hot tub was lovely, we used it almost everyday and enjoyed the fresh walks between it and the house at night, looking at the most beautiful display of stars. Our hosts were lovely, there if you needed them, but not at all intrusive, despite the house being next door to their home. The welcome cakes were a lovely addition. The games room was well equipped, although a little cold. We were very lucky with the weather, and enjoyed Devil's bridge, Aberystwyth, an escape room at the silver mountain experience, which would also looked great if you had younger children. We also went clay pigeon shooting at Dovey Valley, a bit of a drive but well worth it as we also saw planes flying on the mac loop. The local village is well suited for all your needs, a spa, lovely pub, a delicatessen with cafe, which served great food and the staff were lovely and welcoming. We also had a Tesco delivery which worked well. All in all we had a great break.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Spotlessly clean house with absolutely everything you could need provided. Owners always on hand to help without being “in your face”. Great hot tub and games room and plenty of room for everyone. Thank you!

Teenagers loved games room, picnic area down near the river and bbq down there. Wonderful holiday would high recommend and book direct on felin Hedd website

Lots of places to visit nearby ie Hafod Estate,Cors Caron, Coed Maenarthur, all great for the dogs. Would definitely recommend this property

The house was beautiful and looked stunning we loved the hot tub it had a great garden and we got to use the 3 fields which also had a river at one of them, the whole family enjoyed the games room and the Owners were lovely and helpful
