Located in the upper part of Ossuccio, in a small historic hamlet known for its peaceful atmosphere and authentic charm, Casa L'Ulivo has been recently renovated with great care, preserving the original character of the building while incorporating modern comforts and high-quality finishes.

On the first floor, guests will find a bright open-plan living area featuring a comfortable lounge, a TV area, and a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. The kitchen opens directly onto the terrace, the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner outdoors while admiring the beautiful views of Lake Como.

A hallway leads to the first double bedroom and a modern bathroom with a shower.

An internal staircase leads down to the ground floor, which has been created from the property's original rooms and retains the building's exposed wooden beams, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. These historic beams, an original feature of the house, also contribute to the natural scent of wood that characterizes these spaces. This floor includes two additional double bedrooms and a second bathroom with a shower and washing machine. One of the bedrooms provides direct access to the outdoor patio, furnished with sun loungers for relaxing moments in the open air.

Casa L'Ulivo comfortably accommodates up to six guests and is equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and heating throughout.

The property is accessible only on foot and does not have private parking. However, free public parking is available nearby.

Casa L'Ulivo is accessible only on foot via a flat pedestrian path of approximately 100 metres from the nearest road. The property does not have private parking; however, free public parking is available between 150 and 400 metres away.

The area is a true paradise for hiking enthusiasts. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers numerous walking and cycling trails leading to breathtaking viewpoints overlooking Lake Como. It is also the perfect place to experience the lake itself, whether by renting a boat or spending a relaxing day at the Ossuccio lido.

Despite its small size, Ossuccio is an ideal destination for anyone looking to enjoy peace, natural beauty, and culture in one of Italy's most iconic settings.

The village offers a selection of cafés and restaurants; however, there are no grocery stores in Ossuccio. The nearest supermarket is Sigma, located in the nearby village of Lenno, approximately 1 km away.

GETTING AROUND

Please note that taxi services on Lake Como are not always reliable or readily available. For this reason, we recommend not relying on taxis once you have arrived. Instead, we suggest considering alternative transportation options such as public transport (buses and ferries), renting a car, or arranging a private driver in advance.

The nearest bus stop is located on the main Lake Como road, approximately 600 metres from the property, while the ferry stop is in Lenno, about 1 km away. We recommend travelling by car, as the pedestrian route from the bus stop to the house is partly cobbled and uphill, which may be less convenient when carrying heavy luggage.

Ossuccio is easily accessible from the airports, as well as from Milan and Lugano, all of which are approximately a one-hour drive away.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE

The ground floor retains the original exposed wooden beams of the historic building. As a result, the distinctive natural scent of wood can be noticed throughout these rooms.

All guests are required to pay a tourist tax of €3.00 per night, per person.

It is forbidden not to separate waste as instructed, otherwise a penalty of € 60,00 will be charged.
