  • Comfortable relaxing apartment in the heart of Lenno with private parking space: here in Lenno you will find everything you need for your holiday and this apartment is a perfect place to stay with spacious living room/diner that leads to the terrace with view on the surrounding mountain and scenic glimpse of the lake, modern yet classic Italian style full equipped kitchen with induction hob, 2 comfortable large bedrooms both with balcony and a modern bathroom with big shower. Private parking space for 1 car.
    In the SAME BUILDING WE RENT ANOTHER 2-bedroom APARTMENT and a studio apartment, if you wish to come with friends or big family, please enquire for more information.
    Ideally located to reach all highlights on Lake Como: the boat stop and bus stop are just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment and enable you to visit all attractions in this beautiful area. Relax on the private terrace or stroll down to the center with its cafes along the lake including the best Gelato in lake Como, its restaurants and small shops, grocery and supermarket, everything reachable on foot. Even the beautiful man made sandy beach in Lido di Lenno is just 5 minutes ‘walk from the apartment, there you can spend unforgettable days with your children or go for dinner in a unique atmosphere. The public free beach it’s also only 2 minutes away from the apartment and offers a relaxing garden where you can lay in the sun or reach the water for a swim, bar/cafè is right in the same place. Bank and post office at walking distance. Market day every Tuesday, one step from the apartment, to enjoy a typical atmosphere. Right here in Lenno you will have the possibility to visit Villa Balbianello and its wonderful garden, Villa Carlotta is reachable in 5 minutes ‘drive, Bellagio and Varenna are also very close and you will enjoy a pleasant boat trip to reach them, Menaggio is just 10 minutes by Car from here, Como about 30 minutes and you can reach them by boat, fast-boat or bus. The scenery walk called “Green Way del Lago” crosses Lenno and you can start from here this leisurely and pleasant hike through ancient villages, churches, villas and gardens, by breathtaking views.
    We will be glad to assist you giving you advice on the best way to visit lake Como area, giving you our suggestions on how to go around, good restaurants, beautiful hiking, etc. Please feel free to ask any time.

Excellent place to stay

This was a beautiful place to stay in a lovely, quiet part of Lake Como. We were in walking distance to cafes, the promenade and the boat taxi. Ambra was a great and helpful host. The apartment was in excellent condition, just as pictured. We would stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

Peaceful and very pleasant accommodation at lake Como!

The location of the apartment is perfect to go around lake Como. Lenno is a small and very nice village and restaurants are very close to the flat. We enjoyed the visits nearby, the practicity of having restaurants and supermarkets at immédiate walking distance. Ambra is a perfect host with a perfect apartment! Florence

Brilliant week - fantastic apartment

We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment. Its much larger than it appears on the photographs and is beautifully decorated and obviously loved. It is very well appointed and immaculately clean. We spent many a happy hour sipping drinks on the balcony with views of the lakes and mountains The location was perfect, with a few really nice restaurants a 5 minute walk away, some on the edge of the lake. The ferry terminal is only a short walk from the apartment (max 10 mins) and the terminal is very well served by boats to all the major lake locations/ attractions and with Lenno being half way up the lake its a really great location that makes eveything within reach. Ambra (the host) is wonderful - avaliable for advice when needed but never obtrusive. We loved chatting about the best places around the lake or to eat and she really helped make our short trip into Milan, when the weather was poor, easy with some great advice on where to park to jump the short train in. We loved Lake Como and we will be back. We would stay here in heartbeat - my worry is that its just never avaiable as it's so good!

Wonderful stay!

What a great experience all around… highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back. The place had everything you could need and everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. Stay here and look no where else :) it is also walking distance to everything you need in Lenno!

Cute apartment in Lenno with a nice view of the lake, close to a small grocery store, laundromat and ferry station. The apartment is in great condition. Communication with the owner was very easy. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Amazing Lenno vacation!

Ambra is just the most incredible host, and the apartment was absolutely beautiful. We have stayed at many VRBO’s and this was by far the absolute best! Terrifc location--traveling in Italy for 2-1/2 months without a car--a 5 minute walk to the lake...which is gorgeous...10 minutes to the grocery store, 15 to the laundromat (we stayed 4 weeks) and wonderful walking through the neighborhoods and nearby villages. Ambra is a knowledgeable and attentive hostess; she & Claudio live below keeping their yard and patio neat as a pin. Our unit was immaculate and well stocked...even with a dish towel! Lovely apartment!

We could not have been more pleased with Ambra’s apartment! It was so comfortable and very conveniently located. We didn’t have a car and could walk everywhere! We enjoyed our 5 night stay, exploring Lenno and the mid lake towns. We especially loved the pastry shop for morning coffee and the Gelato shop is the absolute best! Ambra is an absolute wonderful host, it was a pleasure meeting her. She was so helpful and we highly recommend this apartment. Look forward to returning one day!!

Nice stay at lake Como

We enjoyed our stay at Ambra's house. However, the first night the heating was not on despite very low temperatures outside and our baby caught a cold. If you have a baby or small child think about bringing along a blanket/carpet for the floor or a chair. Furthermore, we were surprised by the cleaning fee which have to be paid extra in cash at the arrival. When booking something we expect that the cleaning fee is included.

Lovely Lenno Apartment

Ambra is a wonderful host and her apartment is beautiful- especially the bathroom, it’s been designed impeccably with lots of storage! The apartment Is close to the main square, restaurants, c10 bus route, pharmacy and more! If it helps others, we used the Rome to Rio app a lot to navigate our way about with buses and boats and it was very accurate. We’d definitely recommend Ambra’s apartment, the only thing I would have loved would have been a portable air con unit or additional fan for bedrooms as there was only one in the whole apartment and with the heat wave it was hard to sleep. We gave the fan to the kids who slept very well!

Great apartment in lovely Lenno

The apartment of Ambra is very large and spotless clean, newly decorated. As shown on the photo's. Ambra is living downstairs and available for all information. She is very kind and gives a lot of valuable advice, such as restaurant bookings, excursions, bus and boat advice. The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk to the Lungolago, and had a private parking spot, which is invaluable at Lake Como. During day time it is hard to park anywhere at Lake Come, so take the bus or boat, both in a very short walking distance of te apartment. Lenno is a beautiful small town. Lenno has the perfect balance between not being too crowdy but has a lot to offer. We felt it was the nicest village to stay in at Lake Como. Close to everything. If you fancy a swim one day head to the lovely free beach (with inexpensive beach bar) of Porlezza, only 25 min by car (and plenty of free parking space). We highly recommend staying at Ambra's place to experience true Italian hospitality!

Loved Lenno

My husband, my grown daughter and I had the distinct privilege of being guests in Ambra’s home. She was a gracious accommodating hostess. The property was lovely. It was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. We particularly enjoyed a glass of wine in the evenings on the balcony with a view of the mountains overlooking the lake. Her property is centrally located with easy ferry access to the larger towns such as Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio which were teaming with people. Ambra’s location in Lenno was a peaceful respite at the end of the day tucked away from the crowds. Lenno is a small quaint town with a handful of good restaurants whereby everything is accessible on foot. We did not rent a car and had no problem getting around town or elsewhere. Rest assured Ambra will assist you in reaching your destinations. A helpful hint, if you are not renting a car and arriving in Como by train, I would recommend you arrange for a taxi to meet you at the train station and drive you to Lenno. While you can take the bus to Lenno we discovered that it only runs every 2 hours on Sundays and they were very full.
