"We stayed here recently on a trip to Chicago. It’s about halfway between Chicago and Augusta, GA where we live so we stayed one night on the way there and then again on the way back. The hotel was great. Clean, breakfast included, everything we expected from the IHG name. The real highlight, however, was the staff. Kenny, the night clerk, made us feel welcome and had us laughing immediately with his humor. He also assured us that he would make sure our reservation was not canceled when we arrived later than expected due to inclement weather on the return trip. I did not catch the morning clerk’s name, but she was great as well. She gave my dogs treats and pets and made them feel welcome too. Five days later, when we were checking out in the morning, she saw me with the pups and remembered them by name! The food service ladies were also very friendly and pleasant. We will be back if we find ourselves in the area again. Highly recommended!"
