"I had a wonderful stay at Unscripted Durham. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Communication was excellent throughout my stay, and everyone I interacted with went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and had a great atmosphere. My room was spotless, comfortable, and exactly what I was looking for. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. My only suggestion for improvement would be clearer communication regarding the parking situation. The signage could be a bit more straightforward, as I ended up paying $25 for parking when I was only using the lot for a short period of time. Other than that, everything was fantastic. I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit such a positive experience!"

"The rooftop bar was nice but only opens in the evening. The main restaurant wasn’t anything special, the atmosphere was not what you would expect from the photos on their website and it felt more like a local diner. The service at the coffee bar was subpar. The front desk staff was fine but didn’t seem very professional. The bell staff didn’t bother to offer help with my luggage nor open the door for me when I arrived. The room had a nice view but overall outdated and lacked what you’d normally expect such as a smart TV. The daily fresh ground coffee to your room was nice but the add-ins and condiments like sugar, sweetener, milk, etc. were limited. Overall I was disappointed as I expected a lot more from the reviews."

"I booked this hotel based on reviews. I was not impressed. For over $230 a night I expected more. The hotel seemed to be run by 20+ year olds. The lobby and entrance were dingy and were definitely NOT what the pictures showed. I think some serious AI was done to make the hotel look more appealing. The room was clean. The bathroom was the nicest part. Our window view was the HVAc unit directly out our window and it was quite noisy all night. The restaurant was closed. There’s no onsite parking and valet is $35. We will find somewhere else to stay the next time We are in Durham."

"The person at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Super great at their job! The hotel is very convenient. Only issue was a glass left outside our door when we checked in that stayed until we checked out. Despite seeing the cleaning staff on the floor, the previous occupants’ glass remained."
