The property is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Its peaceful setting and well-appointed amenities made our stay especially enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to planning a return visit."

"Wonderful boutique hotel, a stone throw away from the ocean, with just a handful of well appointed rooms (former classrooms). The property shares a larger lot with a nicer campground part of the same organization. Quiet and peaceful overall. Note however that despite the beautiful decor and finish inside the main building, sound insulation is minimal in the bedrooms. Clean and modern bathrooms. Nice common space downstairs with couches, turntable and vinyls. However, no breakfast available. No vending machines either in the main building or around the campground. A limited selection of food, snacks and beverages is available either during opening hours (daytime) at the registration office (attached to the main building) or driving to Trinidad on the main highway (approximately 5 miles South where a limited number of very good restaurants (and Murphy's, a well appointed local grocery store) are located. Access to the ocean (beach and trails along the cliffs' edges) is through a very nice State Park (Sue Meg) a short drive North of the property ($8/day access). Beautiful vistas. However, no direct access to the ocean or any beaches directly in front of the property (private properties and cliffs). Within 10 to 25 miles to great State and National Parks immediately to the North on Hwy 101."

"Everything was excellent! Host communication was great. Check-in was easy, the cottage was nice, comfortable and clean. It was simple which served our needs perfectly. We could walk to great views, the beach, shops and dining. It was perfect!"

"This is truly a wonderful property! I needed a pet-friendly place in Trinidad and this property exceeded my expectations. It's in a great location with ocean views and easy parking. I cooked everyday and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Comfortable living room setting. The hosts were accessible and responsive and the property was clean. The beds were on the firmer side. I 100% recommend this place and would stay here again if I come back."

"I never write reviews but my God this place was perfect. Every little detail (coffee with grinder, the lawn chairs, the extra blankets) was thought out. The view is worth every penny and this little studio is the perfect home base for a weekend Redwoods adventure. Spend the extra few bucks and stay here, you won’t regret it! Awesome awesome awesome, I will be telling friends and family to stay here…thank you to our hosts for making this a perfect trip!"
