Everything and everyone was perfect. Shuttle late and Bruna ungraded our room, a kind gesture! One big flaw in my opinion is the height of the bathroom mirror. Not designed for anyone 5’5” or under.

I stayed at Grand Hôtel Bristol for one night and had a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable — just steps from the Colmar train station, which was so convenient after a long day of travel. The lobby had a warm, charming feel, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful, especially at reception. My room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, even though the building itself is older, which actually adds character. The room didn’t have a view (it faced the back buildings), but I didn’t mind because it was quiet and relaxing. It’s about a 20–25 minute walk to the Old Town, but I really enjoyed the walk — Colmar is a beautiful city. Highly recommend this hotel for both convenience and comfort.

"This is a basic hotel but was fine for our stay. Bunk beds and no kettle/coffee-maker or mini-fridge. Front desk staff are friendly and the breakfast (additional cost) is good. The location turned out to be good, as it's walkable into old Colmar."
