"Wir hatten leider nur eine Woche, was wir noch immer sehr bedauern... - wir haben fest vor, die Wohnung nochmals zu mieten! Wir können Vermieter (sehr engagiert) und Wohnung nur empfehlen. Die Aus- und meistens auch Fern-Sicht: Grandios, sowohl aus der Wohnung, als auch vom Balkon. Sowohl am Berg hoch (Wohnung/Fenster seitlich und zum See), als auch über den See und den Schweizer Jura (bis mind. nach Neuchâtel). Mal Sonne, mal waren wir über, mal unter den Wolken - wunderbar. Egal ob Wandern...

"We stayed in a superior double room one night and a triple room the other. The double room was far better, as it felt more cosy. The triple room had a noisy radiator and some mould on the bathroom ceiling. The location is so scenic, surrounded by mountains. The walk from Chamonix is fantastic, passing paraglider coming into land, or you can take bus 2 (pay contactless on board). Make sure you ask reception for a free Carte d'Hôte (Guest Card) to use the Mount Blanc Express train. The station is a short walk and from there you can explore to the French border, hopping on and off at wonderful locations. Breakfast was good, and we had a drink at the bar one evening too. Overall a good choice and good value for money, given how expensive Chamonix can be."

"Mostly wonderful experience in a beautiful hotel with amazing views. There were a couple dead flies on the floor in our room which was the only disappointing thing. The other thing that was extremely disappointing was our dinner reservations seating (which we made a month in advance). We had a 7pm reservation right when they opened. They have PLENTY of seating with views of Lake Geneva which we wanted for our final night of our anniversary trip. We got there, and were placed in the interior against a wall so I couldn't even see the view at all. My husband could partially see it. I didn't ask to be moved because I'm not typically that type of person, but I was sorely disappinted and confused as to why they did that with as many open tables with a view they had, and when I had booked a month in advance. Nevertheless, we had an enjoyable stay despite our last dinner ambience being ruined. Our server was fantastic."
