Premium hotel with modern yet cosy lobby. Particularly enjoyed the roaring fire when we came in from the cold. Rooms were beautifully decorated, very sound proof and had an amazing view of the water.

A great hotel at a great location. It was extremely clean, tidy, comfortable and ideal for anyone visiting Tromso for either leisure or business. From someone who is a picky eater and regularly struggles with breakfasts when travelling, I didn’t here. The buffet breakfast was great, lots of choice, premium food/drink and the staff were really helpful and friendly too. When we next visit, we will absolutely stay here again!

The room was very small for how high the price was, there’s just enough room to walk around the bed before the wall. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic (the best part,) but for $400+USD/night, I would definitely skip this personally

Staying here in Tromsø was an absolute delight. The restaurant served exactly what we needed—delicious, satisfying meals that hit the spot every time. Our suite was impressively spacious, with plenty of room for our daughter to sleep comfortably on a single bed in the main living area. One of the highlights was the outdoor wellness area: the sauna, plunge pool, and spa bath were exceptional and made for a truly memorable experience. To top it off, our Aurora tour picked us up right outside the hotel—so convenient! I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tromsø.

The staff were very helpful and had lots of suggestions for day trips. Breakfast was fantastic with Norwegian and international foods. Our bed was made everyday and we got new towels when we needed them. I’m not a big fan of the shower design without a shower door as the water gets everywhere, but I realize that this kind of shower is the trend. Dinner at their restaurant was also amazing but I was very troubled to see whale on their menu. All in all a modern and comfortable hotel and great home base for all the excursions you can do in the area. I would stay there again.

The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and we had a great time at the arctic spa. However, given the price of our stay I would expect a much higher level of customer service. Some staff members were extremely polite and helpful, but others seemed annoyed that they had to interact with guests. I had a truly negative experience on Christmas evening with a bartender named Sandra who was frankly rude and disrespectful to myself and other guests. It was very disappointing and, along with some other staff member’s overall attitudes toward guests, left me with a bad taste. Because of this, I’d look into other accommodations if I came back to Tromso.

Fantastic & modern

Fantastic, new, modern place. Fabulous view from the room. Only one remark - the curtains were detached at the ends and it was hard to cover the window to make it fully dark for a good sleep (midnight sun). Fantastic breakfast buffet with a great service minded personnel.

The hotel was really stylish with amazing amenities. I have a very serious feather allergy. I always check ahead and make received a reply saying this was "no problem". After the first night my eyes were swollen shut and I needed a lot of medication. I discovered the (very stylish) yellow throw on the bed was full of feathers. I advised the staff who immediately removed it. That was it. No apology. No "here's some champagne to wash all the tablets down with". Maybe it's a Norwegian thing? If you don't have any allergies - totally visit this hotel. The rooftop is great (for Northern Light spotting). The breakfast was brilliant. Wide selection. High quality. We also used the gym (very nice) and the restaurant which was also very good indeed.
