Hillhouse is a beautiful Georgian country house. Set in the Hillhouse Estate, nestled away on the outskirts of Troon on the beautiful Ayrshire coast in Scotland. HIllhouse is the perfect place to celebrate special occasions, relax with family and friends or take advantage of the superb surrounding golf courses.

Built in 1780, Hillhouse is family owned and was lovingly restored to its former glory 12 years ago. The house is now a fusion of historic Georgian architecture and modern luxury. Hillhouse is only ever offered on an exclusive basis, so you can rest assured you will have the house to yourselves in total privacy.

The Space

Hillhouse boasts a warm and cosy well appointed family kitchen for you to make use of as you like. Alternatively we can provide a list of caterers who can deal with any requirements you have.

Enjoy the freedom and use of our 6 reception rooms. Capture the ambiance of our beautifully laid out drawing room with space to stretch out in comfort. Hang out in the games room, indulge in a Spa treatment from our therapist or simply enjoy this special time with close friends and family in luxury.
We have 10 beautiful big bedrooms with bathrooms, relax in wonderful super kingsize beds with crisp White Company linen and big comfy pillows. Each room is individually decorated, your every comfort cared for, cosy bathrobes, big fluffy towels and local Arran Aromatics products.

During your stay our housekeeping team will make sure you don't have to lift a finger, so you can concentrate on enjoying your stay. Outside of the house our wonderful gardens and grounds are perfect for an evening stroll or a game of croquet on the lawn.

Location

Located just 45 minutes from Glasgow Airport with excellent travel links. We are ideally situated to explore Glasgow, a city with many attractions and excellent retail therapy! A perfect base for golf lovers, wonderful historic houses, good whisky and Robbie Burns.
