"Beautiful location and scenery, especially from the back balcony. Host meet us at check-in and was super nice. Susan offered to help us with any information in & around the area if we wanted. The roosters were the quietest ones I've ever heard. Although I do wear earplugs, I could still hardly hear them after taking my earplugs out. As mentioned, the kitchen has a two burner hot plate, but it worked just fine to cook up the amazing fresh eggs we were provided. Yogurt, milk,butter and English muffins were also complimentary. The fridge was a little bigger than a dorm fridge. So don't expect to chill a lot of wine, or other beverages,or keep a l lot of food cold. Also there's the smallest ice cube try I've ever seen in the tiny freezer. I did managed to fit my three small ice packs in it. So there's no ability to chill beverages quickly with ice. Just be prepared with a cooler as backup. This wasn't a problem for is, but I just want others to be aware so they can be better prepare. I was able to watch a neighboring farmer mow his hay and bale it into those large round mounds you see all over the place in the country. It was peaceful and educational."

"My family had a wonderful time Fishing, swimming, fire pit, hot tub all lots of fun. Host very helpful with area things going on. As my 4 year old granddaughter said.. “this is more funner than I ever thought.”"

"If you are considering staying here, don't hesitate - book it!Our stay was excellent, I can't say more about the peacefulness and tranquility on the pond. Also, had all the amenities available if we wanted to partake in any activities. We used the kayaks, my first time ever, had a blast!The loons on the pond were so fun to watch and listen to, there is nothing like it. We also spotted a deer at the opposite end of the pond.The sauna in the little cabin was an added bonus - such a cute little place to go and unwind even more.The beds were incredibly comfortable - both in the downstairs bedroom and in the loft.We took the short hike to Lampson Falls, it was just perfect for us. A short walk through the woods on a nice wide, flat trail and the falls were beautiful. Had dinner the 2 E's in Edwards, it was very good and the staff were very friendly. We wanted to check out the Wayside Roadhouse, but unfortunately they were closed that day. Looked like a fun place to grab a drink.If I had to make any suggestions at all, I would say that the TV selection was a bit lacking, but I assume the options are limited. There IS a DVD player there, so I might suggest to bring some movies.We had an absolute wonderful time and wished we could of stayed longer. Teresa & Chris were excellent hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely return and hope to do so.Thank You, Teresa & Chris!"
Oswegatchie River Cabin w/ Kayaks + Fire Pit!

"We had a fantastic stay here! Our whole family (grandparents, 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren) absolutely loved the amenities and all that this property offered. Kids ranged in age from infant to 12 with the majority 9 and under. The water was accessible but with a huge rolling yard between the waters edge and the house, it made it feel very safe with all of the little ones. Plenty of water activities to do: tubes for riding down the river (a huge hit for us!), plenty of kayaks to use and fishing off the dock (you’ll need to bring your own equipment for this). We were never bored!! A huge beautiful deck facing the water (but also wraps around the whole house and the kids loved running laps) was also well-used by our group. A bonus area in the garage with a ping pong table was the kids favorite place to hang out during downtimes. Such a relaxing atmosphere inside and out. Probably our only concern was the inability to cool the upstairs room where the majority of kids slept along with 2 adults. We brought bigger fans with us and that made it doable but still warm. But other than that, we wouldn’t change a thing and everyone wants to go back next year!!"
