"Part of the hotel that is finished is very nice. There is still a lot of renovation construction ongoing, but our stay was on a Saturday night, so no noise issues."

I had my doubts coming to Michigan and the Detroit area, but Troy, Sterling Heights, Oakland and Bloomfield were a pleasant surprise. Knowing that these areas a safer and more high end, I might have to come back again in the near future.

I'm a native Detroiter who lives in Georgia. Troy is a better option for good hotels at reasonable prices than the city or other surrounding suburbs.
