We stayed with 4 adults and 4 kids and the space was great for this! We especially loved the en suite bathrooms for the two king bed rooms. The kids loved the basketball game room area and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. My only advice is to bring bedding for the loft area if you plan to use that as a bed space. Thank you for a great stay!
Great experience, perfect location and great house to spendemorable town with friends and family.

Perfect house for family vacation!
Lovely home in Northstar with great views and close to many activities. Well-stocked kitchen and everything very clean. Perfect for family vacation with room for several generations to share activities but also have privacy.
We love our stay here. Everyone slept well here The home is beautiful, nice location, very cool in the summer time. Steve is very helpful and quickly responds when we have a question. Our sister forgot her purse with a lot of important things in there. The cleaner person is the is very nice to let the owner know so he could contact us to confirm that we left something very important behind. That’s was grateful, my sister is so blessed.

Wonderful place place for our family!
We all loved our stay and want to go back! The beds/ baths were a pleasant surprise as they we're much nicer than the pictures. The downstairs king needs an extra comforter though! We had to share ours(the main floor master) so those downstairs would stay warm.
The heating is very efficient, but a bit tricky with the three levels. The loft was fun for the kids, and our daughter who was up very early every morning to work, but it gets too hot for general use or sleeping as , of course, the heat rises..we just turned the heater on the main level off and used the fire place on thermostat. The downstairs has it's own thermostat but one room is colder than the others..(the extra comforter would solve that problem!)
The main room windows are stunning and the veiw open to the valley is lovely..the TV in that main room should be a smart TV but is NOT..we planned a movie night only to find we had direct TV but no way to watch a specific movie..I think we could have brought cables and streamed had we known, but we didn't realize that. However, we pulled a 1000 piece puzzle out of a cabinet and did it all in 3 days as a family(5 pieces were missing😉) Very fun!! The kitchen was great to work in together, with a nice island, and counter space with a pretty side open view too..could be a bit better stocked..the things we really missed were a coffee grinder and a wine opener.🙂
The snowboarders enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the others enjoyed it in the morning..very convenient! I would suggest a washable rug at the door for entering from the hot tub and making sure the door from the kitchen gets properly fixed.:)

Beautiful house
Perfect home for family vacation. Relaxing hot tub and beautiful views. Home was very clean and well stocked. Close to many activities and great restaurants in Truckee and North Shore.
Property says it sleeps 12, unfortunately, part of our family ended up not being able to stay, but it was perfect for 8. Would have been crowded for 10 or more. Not enough seats/chairs or seating room for more than 7 to eat at the table, nor is there enough silverware.
We're a ski family so location was perfect, shuttles were great. A few issues with the property, only mentioning in hopes of saving someone the trouble. The hot tub was near impossible to access due to snow pile up on the deck. We couldn't remove the snow because it became hard packed. I think the snow melt on the deck entered the house as the carpet was soaked at the doorway. I did text the management contact but never received a reply. We wanted to use the blow up mattress in the loft but our daughter found the mattress flat after an hour or so and had to continue blowing it up throughout the night (she was not a happy camper). We found a total of about 10 hangers in the house and that just didn't cut it with ski gear. One bedroom downstairs didn't have a dresser or a single hanger. Otherwise happy with our choice but do hope the owners remove or fix the air mattress and supply more clothes hangers.
House is very clean and in good condition. House was as advertised and our family enjoyed it very much. I would recommend the house and will consider renting it again.
Quiet, beautiful and just the right size for 8 adults!
We spent quite a bit of time in the cabin because it was 4 cousins and their spouses catching up from not seeing each other for a long time and because it was really cold outside. It was very comfortable and we loved the hot tub. It would have been nice to have a blow dryer or two and to have a few more supplies in the kitchen, but it was great!

Poorly Managed Property
We wanted to love this gorgeous property. While the house itself was beautiful, the property is managed so poorly that we faced issue after issue. First off, they failed to send the arrival email instructions. And just as others said, the wrong door code was provided. Then we discovered that there was already a broken microwave. Management was aware of it but did not provide a temporary one or fix it in time. This makes it challenging to reheat food quickly for 9 people. Next up...we discovered that the dryer was broken, leaving us with no dry towels and a heap of wet laundry.
Part of the carpet on the stairs was coming off and an exposed nail in stairs pierced my daughter's foot. This is a liability. Carpet should have been fixed.
There were several holes in the window/door screens that had not been fixed. Some had big swatches of blue painters tape covering the hole.
If that wasn't enough, the HVAC system was making an extremely loud clanging noise as loud as a lawn mower and was keeping the family up at night. I contacted management about the various issues and they just told me "life happens."
For a "luxury" home, we expected it to be in much better shape and were especially disappointed by the poor response and lack of accountability. They never followed up to resolve any of the issues.
We were very happy with the size of the house, its condition, and the location. We had a wonderful time.
One ever so slight downside: the house faces the late afternoon sun in early July and gets very warm, making the early sleeping hours a bit uncomfortable, especially in the master suite. Ceiling fans and shades on the upper windows in the main living area would help. But, again, a very nice house that easily accommodated our large extended family in style and comfort.
We stayed at this amazing cabin with our family. Celebrated a birthday with skiing, hot tubbing, sledding and lots of family fun. It was the perfect fit for our needs. Highly recommend this amazing place.
Great house, awesome location for a Ski trip. Shuttle runs directly to the door and drops at the Ski Village. Overall, the house has great space for a family or group, was clean and excellent location.
Pros: Multiple living spaces (kids/teens and adults have plenty of space), nice layout, tall vaulted ceilings, big windows with views of the forest, easy access to slopes, clean, property manager very responsive and helpful, quiet neighborhood with great space between properties
Cons: While no issues were large enough to affect my rating, the property had many minor issues in need of repair and finishes that seemed a bit sloppy for this level of home. Examples: bathroom sink was clogged upon arrival, front door code didn't work....property manager was available immediately to let us in but also let us know this happened to the last few renters (why not fixed?) so had to leave side door unlocked all weekend, hot tub cover didn't have lift arm and difficult to deal with in the snow (and being torn up due to this), kitchen garbage can broken, main level TV cords all out everywhere, internet modem on kitchen counter with cords in way near sink area.
Again, great property and we would go back but for this price point, needing to be kept up and "finished" with a better attention on the details.

Distance learning field trip
Trying to make the best out of distance learning, myself and two other moms decided to spend the week in Tahoe with 5 kids. The house worked out perfect! Internet was fast, beautiful views, and a hot tub to relax in after putting the kids to sleep. The floor plan is amazing and allowed for all of us to have plenty of space. We did a lot of cooking especially with 4 of the kids being teenage boys. The kitchen had everything we needed. We honestly did not want to leave. We have decided this will need to be a yearly trip. Everyone loved the beautiful home and views.
