Northstar Village Studio

Our hotel-style room accommodates a maximum of 4 people and is conveniently located within the Village at Northstar (Timbercreek Lodge Building). Northstar-at-Tahoe is the most complete summer and winter destination resort located in the picturesque Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our rental includes parking permit, departure cleaning and access to the recreation center (including spa, tennis, swimming, gym, and game room).


WINTER activities at Northstar include the new Lookout Mountain offering acres of new terrain for skiers and snowboarders including a Terrain Park and Super Pipe. There is a cross-country center, snow tubing parks, snowshoeing trails, restaurants, bars, retail shops, equipment rental shops, and licensed daycare. In the winter the recreation center offers the spa, Jacuzzi, game room, gym, lap pool, and library.

SUMMER activities include a champion 18 hole golf course and golf pro with shuttle bus available from Village, tennis day and night, tennis pro available for lessons, mountain bike trails including chair lift to take you to the top, equestrian center with great trails for horseback riding, and NEW Skating Rink. Lap pool and junior Olympic-size swimming pool, kids camp, play area gym, and game room all within the recreation center just a few steps away from the studio. Restaurants, deli, farmers market on weekends, and scheduled entertainment are all available in the village during the summer. You are only six miles from Lake Tahoe where you can find boating, jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking, shopping, and sightseeing activities.

A very cute place to stay. There was everything set up you could want for an enjoyable stay. The beds were super comfy!! Great location if you're skiing or riding at Northstar, obviously. Reasonably priced as well, which is probably the biggest selling point for this property. Unfortunately though, the property is in need of a refresh. Cracked tabletop on the balcony, leaking mixer valve on the bathroom sink, visible dirt throughout, and linens on the beds that are clearly very old. The mattresses also seemed pretty old, though were comfortable enough and we all slept well.

Great place to stay at for Lake Tahoe

We stayed here for a weekend, and this is a perfect weekend getaway. The location is close to all the north, east and west lake points, there is a shuttle service and grocery store in vicinity. We will be coming back :)

Northstar Village The Best!

My son and I had a delightful stay. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The host was incredibly accommodating, making sure all our needs were met. The location is perfect, close to local attractions yet peaceful. Highly recommend!

Northstar Village stay

Our stay was very nice. Location was centrally located so getting to Truckee or Incline was very easy. Extremely short walk to the Northstar village store and cafe to get snacks or coffee. Property owner was very responsive in answering any questions we had.

Great Studio!

Lovely little studio right in Northstar Village. Great for a weekend for a family - probably a little small for a longer stay with kids due to the lack of a real kitchen. Super well located, clean, and well organized so that the space is super functional. We are likely to come back if it is available next year!

Perfect location. Small space for a family of 4, but it works. The mini kitchen area (coffee maker, microwave, fridge) was greatly appreciated.

Comfy and Convenient

The place was exactly what we expected. The location and parking was incredibly convenient. We loved the fridge, microwave and disposable utensils to help us make use of our leftovers. The balcony provided an easy and quick place for the kids to play in the snow and parents to have a drink (as there was leftover snow from last week’s storm). We would definitely stay again!

Cozy place with great location for skiing

We enjoyed our time at this cozy studio. Amazing location for skiing at Northstar with all the amenities needed to make the stay more enjoyable. We took a mid morning break from skiing, stopped at the studio to put our gloves on the glove warmers, put on our shoes, take a bathroom break. Super convenient!

Great location, very small

Perfect place to stay at Northstar. The place is tiny but was just fine for the two of us. Inside was nice and clean but the furniture on the balcony produced a cloud of dust when sitting on it. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was fine.

Best location

You can’t beat this location. It was an easy walk to the gondola. The market with coffee and homemade food is right outside the building. It was definitely nice to have a deck to enjoy the warm spring weather.

Fantastic stay at Northstar

It was our first time skiing at Northstar, and we had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for ski-in, ski-out access, making it incredibly convenient. The room was cozy and stayed warm even without the heater, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the wait times at the on-site village restaurants were incredibly long—over two hours for dinner—or they were fully booked during our stay. We were glad we brought our own food.

What a view!

We loved this house. The view of the mountains is stunning. Coffee in the morning gazing at the palm trees and mountains…perfect! The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The pool table added great fun. Close to the action but in a quiet neighborhood. This was a great stay.
