Take your next mountain getaway to this charming and centrally located studio in the heart of Northstar Village. With two cozy queen beds and a well-equipped kitchenette (including a microwave, hot plate, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and all the essentials for light cooking), this studio offers a comfortable and convenient stay for small families or couples looking to enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer.

Located just a short walk from the Village gondola and nestled below the iconic ice skating rink, you'll be steps away from shopping, dining, entertainment, and even a Starbucks to kick off your day. The location can't be beat—close to the slopes in winter and perfectly positioned for summer fun.

As a guest, you'll have access to the Northstar Recreation Center for a small daily fee ($10 per person), where you can enjoy multiple outdoor hot tubs, a large fitness center, game room with pool tables and air hockey, and a kid-friendly atmosphere. During summer, guests can cool off in the Junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, kiddie pool, or lap pool. There's also a kid's camp, play area, and the popular Snack Shack for easy bites by the pool.

For outdoor enthusiasts, summer brings access to mountain biking trails (with lift service to the top), hiking, tennis courts with a pro available, a roller skating rink, and an 18-hole championship golf course.

In the winter months, Northstar Resort transforms into a winter playground. Ski or snowboard on Lookout Mountain's expanded terrain, test your skills at the Terrain Park and Super Pipe, or enjoy snow tubing and cross-country skiing. After a day on the mountain, relax by the fire pits, explore the shops, grab a bite at one of the restaurants, or enjoy après-ski drinks at the Village bars.

Very comfortable stay at a great location

The apartment was well-equipped and very comfortable. It came with a parking spot which was very convenient. Its central location being in the village also made all activities very accessible.

Great Room and Location

We stayed here for the weekend- the kitchenette was a great amenity with everything we needed for a quick breakfast and to pack lunch for our day on the mountain. Room was clean, check in was easy, and the location was perfect!

Great ski trip base

While a little small, the room was ideally located to be a base for a few days of ski adventures! Right in the middle of the village, we had access to everything. The room had all we needed so we could focus on being on the slopes.

Nice Timber Creek Lodge Stay

We spent a delightful weekend in this Timber Creek Lodge unit. TCL is very conveniently located in the village, being right next to the little convenience store and a couple minutes walk from the Gondola. Unit was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Thank you!

Perfect Location

Great spot with close proximity to outside parking spot, gondola, and recreation center. There is a small kitchenette pictured perfect for our family. Bathroom is decent size and shower has great water pressure. Ski racks located on the balcony.

Beautiful resort

We didn’t use the rec center as we didn’t have time in our day but this is an amazing resort. The room was comfortable and clean. Very nice place with so much to do.

Great studio to stay for a quick ski getaway

Location was excellent: 5 minutes walk from the gondola. Parking was convenient. The studio was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable with pleanty of pillows and blankets. The kitchenette was small but useful. The village was also quite fun. Overall, great value!

Great little place

The location is awesome! Just steps away from the gondola! The studio is about the size of a hotel room, but has everything you need. Two comfy beds, a balcony to see what's going on in the village, a small kitchen and a fabulous bathroom. We loved it.

Just Fantastic!

Perfect for a small family

The unit was perfect for our family of 4. The proximity to dining, hot tub, and gondola was unrivaled. My only advice for folks planning to spend your last day at Northstar beyond check-out, make sure you reserve a parking spot in advance. Otherwise, you will need to park off-site and bus in.

Great use of the space!

We loved the kitchenette and counter space. It was a great use of every inch of space in the studio room. Very functional. Especially for a family of four. And perfect location walking distance to gondola. The actual bedding is better than bedding shown in photo. The ease of using lockbox code and parking pass was nice.

Great Value and Location!

The location was fantastic - could walk to everything in Northstar village, and the convenience store is just steps from the front door of the lodge. 15 min to Truckee and 15 min to the lake! Parking was excellent. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, wifi worked well, and the A/C was a huge plus for us in the summer! The cleanliness was not perfect - there were nasty dirty rags on the kitchen counter when we arrived (presumably forgotten by the cleaning crew) and some hairs scattered around the bathroom. Otherwise, we can’t complain with such a great value and convenience. Would definitely stay again if we make our way back to Tahoe.

External corridor unit in Timber Creek Lodge with associated parking and small kitchenette. Clean, comfortable though with limited space to unpack clothes. Unfortunate drunk folks in the hallway outside visiting friend in adjacent unit making a racket woke us up in the middle of the night (midnight) one of the nights.

Stellar location for a single parent and two kids

We stayed here for my 9 year old daughter's weekend softball tournament in Incline village, as did a few others from her team. Being a single dad with a 5 year old and 9 year old I figured the studio would be all we need and the location with proximity to restaurants, pool and rec center, and everything else Northstar has to offer would be perfect. Couldn't have been more right! The kids LOVED the room. It was so close to most places that they enjoyed the freedom to run up to the room or down to meet friends without me at times. The pool and rec center were also just a minute walk away. The check in process, parking, communication with Kristi - all were a breeze. We had so much fun that we added on an extra night the morning we were supposed to check out. I would highly recommend this unit and a big thanks to Kristi for all your help and responsiveness!
