Within walking distance to everything, especially the Opera House, Royal Palace, and Cathedra (they are literally right down the hill). Grand Via is less than two (2) blocks and the Prado, Independence Plaza, and grand museums are a very short cab ride. However, the best part of this property is that while it remains true to its historic roots (as a monastery and a palace from different centuries), it is thoroughly modern, well-planned, and exquisite. The roof top pool and bar have one of the best views in Madrid and the hotel staff are top-notch.
