The room was very small even though I booked for a double room, the walls were dirty. Apparently there are sound proof rooms but the hotel was extremely loud the cleaners are banging and slamming doors from quite early on. The area is not the best there are prositutes directly opposite and a flock of shops where men stand outside, so quite intimidating if you’re a solo female traveller. Took a £200 deposit, entered the room and the kettle was broken and it wasn’t the cleanest place. At check out I wanted to make sure my deposit was returned in full and was told this wasn’t possible and no one could check the room, I asked for the manager and she came over was very polite and helpful and went on and checked the room and released my deposit.
