"Blue hotel Fagrilundur feels very close to nature and incredibly peaceful. The self check-in process was smooth, and I didn’t really interact with any staff during my stay, but everything was well prepared and very comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and truly feel immersed in nature. The hot tub was a big plus, especially after a long day, and I slept extremely well here. I would definitely love to come back and stay here again."

The hospitality was warm and genuine, making us feel completely at home. One of our favorite surprises was the charming Icelandic horses at the fence from the neighboring farm – we got some wonderful photos of these beautiful creatures. The food was wonderful throughout our stay. Breakfast provided everything we needed to start our days of adventure, and the four-course dinners each evening were truly memorable. We can't recommend Torfhus Retreat highly enough for anyone planning to explore Iceland's Golden Circle."
