Best view ever!!!
This is a pretty special property. The views are incredible, the home is cozy and well-maintained, and the property is located just 5 minutes from downtown Tupper Lake and 25 minutes to Saranac Lake (we spent time in both)! I fished both full days we were there. I launched from the property with my fishing kayak one day. My wife used one of the provided kayaks one day. The second day I launched about 1.25 miles up the road at a DEC boat launch. We had a great time and I highly recommend.

Winter weekend getaway
We stayed at the boathouse for a weekend celebrating a friends birthday. Couldn’t have asked for a better location to ice fish, incredible views, and plenty of space for 6 of us. The house is impeccably clean, kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host was great and answered all of our questions very quickly. We can’t wait to come back next winter!

PERFECT... The Loons
Stay – 9/30/23-10/6/23. Being from Tupper, we come every year to visit family. We have stayed in a LOT of VRBO cabins over the years and I have to say The Boat House has been THE best experience yet!! The hosts were extremely nice and very accommodating. Such a nice family! The cabin was spotless, and the furniture spot on for the ADK experience. A home away from home. We were lucky to catch an Indian summer and we got to experience the peak fall colors. The light at Bog River and Buttermilk falls was exceptional this year. The sunrise over the lake every morning was gorgeous! Also, I LOVE Loons! Seeing and hearing them in front of the Boat House every day was awesome! Watching them swim under water trying to catch fish from the Boat House deck was a lifetime experience. Who knew they could swim that fast like little fighter jets 😊 Scott and family, thank you so much for opening your home to folks so we can enjoy the true ADK experience. I cannot wait to book with you again for 2024. Warmest Regards, The LaPointe / Spears Family

Charming with spectacular views!
The Boathouse was such a joy! Clean and cozy, Scott and Brandy made sure we had everything we needed and were very responsive. This was our first visit to Tupper Lake and we couldn’t have asked for a better homebase. Heading out on the lake in the paddleboat and camp fires in the firepit made for an incredible and relaxing weekend. Waking up and seeing the view of the lake and mountains from the master bedroom were just the icing on the cake.

Boat house paradise
The boat house is nicely appointed with room for everyone to spread out. Property was clean and well maintained. Large BBQ grill made it easy to cook burgers, steaks and corn at same time. Having the view of the water from primary bedroom, living room and the large deck are amazing. Being able to keep the boat with all our gear safe and out of the rain overnight made for a great day fishing the following morning. I would definitively recommend to friends and family.

Boathouse delights.
This lovely renovated boathouse delights with gorgeous views of Tupper Lake as well as creature comforts. It was perfect for our group of 4 (2 couples). The Adirondack themed furniture was a cut above in comfort. The kitchen was likewise better equipped than most rentals we have stayed in providing everything needed for preparing meals. We would definitely consider renting The Boathouse for future stays.

Great ADK lake experience
The cabin was the perfect setup for boating. It was great being able to park my boat under the cabin out of the rain and weather. The owner was very accommodating and responded to all our inquiries. The cabin came equipped with all basic necessities, and the decor was quintessential Adirondack style. So much care and detail was put into decorating the cabin, and it made for a truly memorable vacation. Our family enjoyed one full week of boating and fishing on the lake. There is a huge fire pit that our boys used to make s’mores. We took a few trips to town for donuts at the Washboard and ice cream at the Skyline. We loved being on the water, and enjoyed nightly visits from a couple of loons. We made a trip to nearby Blue Mountain Lake to visit the Adirondack museum. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Live the lake life
My family very much enjoyed our stay at the boathouse. Saw lots of birds and enjoyed looking out over the water. The property is shared with the main "lodge" which was occupied by the owner's family during our stay. On the plus side, the family was very friendly and helpful, but on the downside, it's not particularly private when using the outdoor amenities.
