"First the good things. Property is very clean. Room was also clean. Quiet area, air conditioning worked well. Now the not so good things. They are very strict about 4: 00 checking, not 3:00, must be 4. Parking in the evening is problematic, had to park two buildings over. The bed was good , comfortable but the bottom fitted sheet might have been for a queen bed. Completly pulled up all around. The ceiling fan might need a looking nto, the wall- control was ineffective. Would I stay there again, yes knowing the quirks and limits. Good place."

"We were here maybe 15 yrs. ago and the rooms were definitely more rustic. The updated rooms are simple, clean and cozy. The full and efficient kitchen was fine to make a nice dinner. The resort was winding down for the season and staff minimal and in late September the restaurant was closed so it was best to p/u food for breakfast and dinner. Minimal problems included the thermostatically controlled small gas fireplace that was somewhat erratic; sometimes the fan was too noisy at night. During the day the traffic noise made it difficult to enjoy the beautiful grounds, but quiet at night. Overall worth the stay to enjoy beautiful Hope Valley and trails on the property!"
