Holidays in a listed building combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the "Ferien im Baudenkmal" foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005.

Boat: By boat to Twann, then 5 minutes on foot to the house.

Number of persons 4: The house can accommodate up to four guests. The beds are all futons - very hard. The floors are made of wood and stone, which is why we recommend good slippers. Despite the insulation, it can get colder in winter, which is why we recommend warm clothing. As no other place for a second toilet could be found in the house, these were placed next to each other without further ado.
