"The outdoor pool at the Lakeside Lodge had an even tile on the deck where my son fell, hit his elbow and ended up with a large cut that needed stitches at the local emergency hospital.
The hotel was quick to fix the issue with the tile, but no apologies or acknowledgment was made or other form of compensation for the fact that we had to spend half a day in hospital. Very unfortunate situation."
"IF YOURE READING THIS - YOU WANT TO COME HERE I PROMISE. After searching for several hours for a cottage, a camp site, ANYTHING, that ticked all of our boxes, this is the only one that not only came close to but exceeded expectations. I wanted a private location, right on the water, with a cute aesthetic, grill, campfire and kayaks, and I got all of it! Tree coverage is amazing, the lake is very nice and calm, the cottage itself is stocked and adorable. Only downfall is how many flies there are outside, but thats not something that can be controlled! I am 1000% returning here next year and telling everyone I know about this place. We even saw deer and moose! Loved the ps2 and wide variety of dvd selections as well. 10/10 trip "

"Those host Kim was awesome throughout the entire process, from booking to checkout. Our group of 18 had a blast at the cottage, with so much space to get together and things to do. The cottage was HUGE.I absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a space with a larger group. Thanks again!"
Secluded Muskoka Glamping Cabin with Private Lake & Trails
10/10 Excellent
"It was a great location, and a quiet spot to camp for a few days. Good amenities, nice quiet private lake and kayaks. This being June, bring bug spray and citronella. The bunkie is excellent, a nice retreat if it gets too wet outside and the composting toilet is a nice step up. Kitchen area is nicely sheltered, so cooking in inclement weather is not an issue."
"Carine was so friendly and we felt so welcome. Captain was on the same property as the main house though because of the sound of the river it was like we were miles away. There was a power outage the day we checked in, but they kept the generator on so that we could turn the light on and unpack. And clean. Clean, clean, clean clean. I have never in my life been in a house, so clean in my life!"
