"Very peaceful property and the hosts were clear, communicative and answered any questions (ahead of time and on site) promptly. The property itself was stunning - everything had been updated (appliances, washrooms, bedrooms, games room, TV, hot tub, etc) and new while maintaining a classic and warm cottage element.We were able to comfortably and easily host 16 guests and each one was able to have their own space and also congregate all together to enjoy meals and games and time together. I will be booking again for another large family gathering. Cannot wait to get back. The privacy offered at the property is lovely too. You have your own space and the nature is beautiful. We were there in the winter so didn't get to use the lake etc but we walked down to the dock/lake front (about 5-10 minute walk from cottage) and it was lovely. Again, can't wait to get back! "

"The perfect cozy winter cabin!!! My partner and I had a great time enjoying the early snowy January days from this well-equipped cottage. Amenities were A, kitchen had everything we could possibly need in terms of tools, appliances, and space, and the bathroom was very clean, with great water pressure and tons of space to put our toiletries. We were concerned that the wood stove wouldn't reach the bedrooms during the night, as it did take a while to warm up when we got there, but we actually ended up sweating that first night! Beds were comfy and clean, and plenty of towels were provided. Can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake! George was very attentive and checked in to make sure we had everything, and even sent us rental recommendations ahead of time. Thanks so much. :)"

"The space was very nice and comfortable. A few amenities that would have been nice are bed side lamps, a hair dryer and a door mat. Aldo the wall way was not shovelled, so a shovel by the door would be handy. Thank you for the home away from home!!"

"The restaurant was excellent on site very friendly. The guys that run. The place are very nice too but communication is a challenge sometimes as the workers and general manager don’t speak English well but they do try. They’re also very accommodating room was quite cold when I got in broken thermostat, but they did their best to accommodate buildings are older on the outside and we’re surprisingly nice inside mattresses could’ve been a little more comfortable but overall finishing was impressive, Restaurant was extremely surprising. Just really, really good."

"The cottage is in terrible shape. It is for sale and the owners do not wish to do any renovations ( very many are necessary ). The dock and steps leading to it are very shaky and dangerous. The deck needs to be refininshed. The screen door does not close properly and lets bugs in. The BBQ does not work properly, it is disgustingly filthy and should be replaced. There is supposed to be a ping pong table, but there is not. Some items were missing, and it took 2 days to provide them. The heaters in the main rooms did not work. There was no heater in the downstairs bedroom. I contacted VRBO on the second day and spent over 2 hours on the phone and sent several pictures. I am sad to say that I received no satisfaction from VRBO or the owners. I have used VRBO many times in the past and do not plan to use you again.I feel that we are entitled to some compensation from both the owners and yourselves.Herb Vogelplease refer to case #144026608p.s.
