Agapi Beach Resort - Premium All Inclusive

"A beautifully maintained resort with great amenities, though room logistics could be smoother. Overall, the resort was beautiful and well-maintained. The location is convenient, with several shops and restaurants within walking distance. Most of the staff were helpful and welcoming, though a few felt slightly distant—perhaps due to a language barrier, as I do not speak Greek. Our stay had a rocky start when our reserved room wasn't available on the first night. I was placed in a bungalow and told it was an upgrade. However, once I moved into my actual reversed room the next day, I realized the reserved room was significantly better. It was modern, upgraded, and featured a wonderful view, whereas the bungalow's (room 654) view was largely blocked by a large tree. Additionally, the bathroom sink water had a strong, unpleasant odor throughout my entire stay. The dining experience was typical for a resort—a mix of great, average, and mediocre options. My friends and I dined at the main buffet and the Italian restaurant, enjoying both. They offered a wide variety of choices, and the bread, crepes, lamb, and drinks were personal highlights. The pool & beach areas were kept spotless, with attentive staff ensuring guests were comfortable. A special shoutout goes to the spa team, especially Erika and her colleague, who were incredibly friendly and kind while booking guests around the property. Tip: The bungalow featured an international converter outlet that should added to all rooms."

"Cette maison très originale et pleine de charme offre une superbe vue sur Heraklion et le mythique mont Iouchtas. Autour de la maison 4 terrasses permettent de rester, si on le souhaite, à l’abri du soleil toute la journée. La qualité de l’accueil a été remarquable et chaleureuse. Bon point de base pour visiter la région d’Heraklion à Rethymnon et même le sud: nous avons visité sans nous presser Gortyne, Phaistos et baignés à Matala dans la journée."

"Everything was exactly what you'd expect from a quality holiday resort and spa. Our only regret was staying for just one night, which simply wasn't long enough to enjoy the many activities and facilities on offer. This is the kind of place best appreciated over several days, where you can truly switch off, relax, and do absolutely nothing if that's what you need. If you're planning a visit, I'd definitely recommend making it a multi-night stay to get the most out of the experience."

"The family that owns this property is helpful, accommodating, hospitable and genuine. The room was very clean and anything you could possibly need for your stay is provided. Kitchenette with all dishes and dish soap. The beds were comfortable and tidy. The grounds were well kept and full of flowers and fruit trees. They even provided aloe from a personal plant when I got sunburned! There is a clothes washer in room. And there is private parking which is a HUGE plus. The family couldn't be nicer! We will definitely stay here again."

"A simply excellent Villa. We have stayed at a lot of Villas across various Greek Islands and Europe, and this was our favourite. Communication with Kostas and Maria was outstanding, and the level of hospitality was something we haven’t experienced elsewhere. Maria welcomed us, showed us around, and as part of the welcome they had provided wine, eggs, nuts, raisins, fruit, 3 flavours of homemade Raki etc from their vineyard as well as bread, water, beer and they had even baked a delicious cake. The villa was spotless, immaculately clean and so well equipped, they have simply thought of everything that you could possibly need. The beds are comfortable, the Air conditioning is excellent and very quiet, the pool and outside area are amazing, and the pool table and gym downstairs is a fabulous addition. Oh and the view of the sea from the villa is amazing, far better than you can tell from the photos in my opinion.I have nothing bad to say whatsoever. We will definitely be returning."
