From Harlingen there is a ferry to the Wadden Islands of Vlieland and Terschelling, which are definitely worth a visit. The town of Franeker, known for the Elfstedentocht, is only 5 km from the vacation home. Visit the old town and the planetarium here. Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland, is 22 km from the vacation home. The vacation home is about 7 km from the indoor swimming pool Bloemketerp in Franeker.

Schöne Zeit
Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Unterkunft hatte alles was man braucht. War gemütlich. Tzummarum ist ein ruhiges Dorf. Umgebung idyllisch. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in den umliegenden Städten. Sehr schöne Sandstrände gibt es in Harlingen (mit Ebbe und Flut) und Makkum (ohne Ebbe und Flut). Auch der Deich den man zu Fuß erreichen kann ist sehr schön.
