We had a wonderful stay at Tebesaya Cottage. Primarily, the staff were incredible - some of the most kind and genuine hosts we've ever encountered. The property was lovely. Two nice pools, our room exquistely maintained, and the location of Tebesaya Cottage can't be beat for it's proximity to hundreds of restaurants and warungs within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Tebesaya Cottage. It’s a small place but feels super homey. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the location is great — close to everything in Ubud. It’s quiet, has two pools, and the rooms are nice and spacious. I’d definitely come back!

Lovely quiet little retreat in the heart of Ubud. Nicely located near the monkey forest and near to lots of nice restaurants. Very quiet, private little hotel, I would definitely recommend.

Great location and strong wifi

Really enjoyed my stay. Tebesaya Cottage is in a great location - close to main yoga studios and restaurants but the street is quiet at night. I was impressed by the strong wifi (was able to upload/download large photos and audio books quickly).

Love the porches and the decor. The pools are beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is tucked away and quiet except for the scooter noise. I had earplugs so it didn’t bother me. Overall a charming little place.

Have just finished a 3 night stay which was the 2nd time I have stayed here. Loved it again. The location is great, close to a lot of restaurants, shops etc but still very quiet and private. Our room was clean and comfortable and the aircon worked very well. The 2 pools are lovely and not busy which is great. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Would stay again!

We stayed for just under a week. The area is convenient and we were able to walk all around Ubud including the monkey forest. We enjoyed both pools. Breakfast and afternoon tea was great! The staff were helpful, we booked a few tours through them seamlessly. The only downside is you can start to see the wear and tear, just don't look to close in the bathroom/shower corners and you'll be happy.

I arrived with 2 others very late at night and was greeted by a super welcoming staff that had everything ready to go for us after a long day of traveling. I highly recommend adding the breakfast to your stay. It is a great deal and super delicious and you can order it to your room. The restaurant across the street is amazing. I stayed for a few nights and went there at least 4 times. When I think of my overall trip to Indonesia I think of Tebesaya. I will absolutely be going back.

+ : Cute hotel at a good location. Walking distance to nice restaurants, bars, shopping, yoga, monkey forest etc. Option to have breakfast served at the appartment balcony. Friendly personnel. Quite good value for the price, in our opinion. - : They really have to change the AC - it sounded like a jet plane taking off all night. And the shower handles were old and didn’t function properly. Not very impressive breakfast, could easily be better/more fresh. Also it wasn’t cleaned properly (hair, dust and dead insects behind tv and bed table). The location and cute pool area made it worth the stay - but there are improvements to make in order to get a better rating. For me this is a 3-star place at the moment. Could be 4-star with some improvements!

It was a really nice property to stay. Clean and staff are helpful. We encountered national geographic moments where we were woken up by a dove cooing. Some times there were ants in the room resulting from eating a little in the room. The wc was cleaned, but there may be a problem with the sewage system. This also maybe true with the whole island. Therefore, you get an odour in the wc. The hotel is located on a busy street, so it is noisy with nonstop traffic. But it does get quiet down after midnight. If you’re a light sleeper, you might not want to stay here. Nevertheless it is worth the price, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel placed a chocolate bar and a rose with a valentine day wishes in our room. A nice touch and a surprise from the hotel. We would certainly consider staying at this hotel again.

Great Place to stay in Bali

The people of Bali or some of the most pleasant society I have ever encountered, and the staff at Tebasya Cottage reflect this. The grounds are beautiful and the service outstanding.

The property was in an ideal location and the staff were very warm/friendly. Could have benefitted from some more loungers around the pool and perhaps improved WiFi connectivity for those working abroad.
