2012年11月10日、長野県上田市にある前山寺の三重塔と黄葉。 国の重要文化財であり、「未完成の完成の塔」とも呼ばれる前山寺の塔。 窓や回廊などがなく、一般的には未完ではあるけれども、塔として必要最小限の構造のみで"完成されている"ため、そう呼ばれる事もあるそうです。 不自然さなどなく、周囲の風景と見事に調和していました。 11/10/2012, A pagoda in Zenzanji-temple in Ueda, Nagano, Japan, with fallen leaves. This pagoda is called an unfinished but finished pagoda. It doesn’t have any window, corridor, etc, but it does have the minimum of what a Buddhist pagoda must have. Because of that people call it so. The pagoda stands in perfect harmony with its surroundings.

年末年始２泊しました。駐車場がかなりぬかるんでいて、駐車スペースを確保するのが大変でした。施設の整備や清潔さは特に問題はなかったのですが、チェックインする時間に合わせて暖房をつけておいてもらえると良かったです。暖房器具が１台しかなく部屋が暖まるまでかなり時間がかかりました。
