"The manager whilst seemingly polite was inattentive and did not check the room booked was available. Offered alternative room that was not suitable but we had no choice but to take it. I was offered a refund but it was not forthcoming and still hasn’t been received. "

"Very nice English influenced clean house. Big garden with all the privacy. Private parking just next to the house. We had very nice chats with the owner. Because of a bit rainy weather sometimes we didn't use the swimming pool much, but the pool was very big and nice to swim in. Thanks Chris and Gill for this lovely week!"

"Nous étions 5 adultes et un enfant de dernière minute, mais Simon et Paulette nous ont accueilli sans soucis. Nous venions pour le RPGers à plaisance qui est à 15 min en voiture, C'était parfait ! It's the perfect location for just sitting and staring out over the valley below to the Pic du Midi de Bigorre in the distance OR as a base camp for great bike rides, hikes and marché hopping. The only warning, applicable mainly to US visitors, is that you are expected to bring your own bed sheets and towels. Highly recommend; we hope to return soon!"

"We were met by Kay and Neil and made to feel very welcome. The property was just as described and Kay had left us some provisions such as milk butter etc. The gite is very well situated to explore the region, and is a 20 minute walk into the village of Madiran, which has 2 restaurants and a boulangerie.
